You may look a bit overdone, but don’t worry,this fades over the healing time and the final look will be very natural and subtle. Allow two days for the deeper colour to heal and begin to fade. They will fade by 30-70 per cent in the first week and shrink in size. This is why the retouch is of upmost importance. 21.01.2022 Pigments VS Inks Cosmetic Tattoo pigments are very different to body art inks which is the reason behind why it is called ‘Semi-Permanent Makeup’. They gradually fade over time from environmental factors and simply due to skin type and skin regime. Body Art inks contain ‘carbon’ which generally wont fade, they are also made up of primary and secondary colours which are brighter (I’m sure you would agree, these would not look natural on the face.) Predominantly the darker the pigment, the more concentrated with dominent colours the pigment is, therefore the longer lasting.
