25.01.2022 After todays good news, less and less number of new cases of the virus infections, I am now willing to dream. As a Melbourne resident the weekend means visiting a nearby cafe, enjoying the famous Melbourne coffee and greeting other patrons with a smile. Over the years I developed a friendly relationship with the cafe owners and workers near my home. I so much miss these old habits as well as miss seeing those happy friendly faces.

23.01.2022 Finally flying again. It felt like it is the first time. Getting an Uber to the airport. Checking bags in and going through the security gates, as if I never done it before. A strange feeling of awe and joy like a child, I was so excited. I even got a selfie in the lounge!. So many things we take for granted and so many things we need to learn to enjoy again.

21.01.2022 Around this time i would be very excited trying to balance work and end of year holidays. As a child one of the jobs I dreamt of doing is being a flight attendant to travel all-over the world for living. When this dream did not come true, I tried to travel as much I could when time and budget permit. Travel was a gift to celebrate good events, Travel for me was a good therapy to get over personal downturns. Also travelling was the project that i get so enthusiastic to plan when life was static.
