20.01.2022 IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ It is with great disappointment that we wish to advise that the Vitasoy Nail Can Hill Run and the Flex Out Physiotherapy Half Can unfortunately will not take place in 2020. This decision has not been taken lightly, as the history of this event in our community is one of iconic status.... We have come to this decision following extensive consultation between our Event Committee, Sponsors and the other businesses and organisations who have been loyal, long-term supporters of this fabulous community fundraising event. Our concern with running the event in the latter part of 2020 is that it is unknown what restrictions, or legislative compliances may still be under enforcement at that time. Further, with many other activities being rescheduled, along with the significant disruption created during the isolation period for everyone, it is likely there would be an adverse effect on participant numbers. With these considerations in mind, it was decided by the Organising Committee that, rather than delivering an event which failed to meet our own high expectations of quality, we will set our sights on 2021. On a positive note, in what can only be viewed as an amazing act of generosity and community spirit, Vitasoy, Beyond Bank, a prominent local business identity (who wishes not to be recognised), and some eager event registrants, have provided the funds required to purchase the much needed Emergency Light Tower for our hard-working Albury & Border Rescue Squad - NSW Volunteer Rescue Association Inc.. A few of the eager registrants have also chosen to forgo their refund and have graciously donated it to our beneficiary. We cannot thank those organisations and people enough for this extremely kind and selfless gesture, it is one for which we are profoundly grateful. On behalf of the Event Organising Committee, we wish to thank you for your loyalty and ongoing support of this wonderful community activity. Please stay safe, look after each other and we promise to make the 2021 Nail Can Hill Run one to remember! #WalkIt #RunIt #RideIt #NailIt To read the full Press Release from our Race Director Stephen Wood, click here: https://bit.ly/3dGXFER *If you have already registered for NCHR2020, please check your emails for details on a refund.
