19.01.2022 I attended a Get Buffed workshop last weekend and I am so impressed. There is no way I thought I’d ever be able to hand paint a character. This was my first ever attempt & I am stoked it actually resembles Lady from Lady & the Tramp. Sarah shared so many tricks and tips. If you are a tech and ever get the chance to go to one of her workshops, do it. Don’t wait, they sell out super fast. Seeing her line work in real life will have you wondering how she does it. 18.01.2022 || Thank you || As another year comes to an end, I want to say thank you. To both my regulars & my one off clients. Your support keeps the doors to my tiny salon open. Thank you for letting me create wearable art on your fingernails every few weeks. I am truly lucky to have such a loyal client base, here’s to us and another year filled with glitter covered nails. 16.01.2022 CLOSED As lots of you already know, as of midnight 25th March, the salon was forced to close by the Australian Government. This closure doesn’t have a time stamp on it. I am unsure when I will be back and operating again. ... I want to throw out a massive virtual hug to all of my clients who worked with me in the lead up to the closure. Appts were moved and squished into smaller time frames and not one person fussed over it. I got as many clients in as I possibly could before I was made to close my doors. The support has been phenomenal. I’ve received gifts & loads of messages of support and love. You better believe that tears have been shed. This is not forever. I am feeling hopeful that my little doll house can come back from this. I am already looking forward to seeing you all again. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that it’s sooner rather than later. 07.01.2022 || SEVEN || The doors may be closed for now, but it’s not going to take away from the salons SEVENTH birthday which means, I have now been in the doll house for half of my nail career. If you’re a past client, future client, regular of mine or even just an online follower, pop a bottle to us, because without you, there would be no doll house. Happy birthday! Here’s to many more years of nailing. I know the salon would be blowing out her candles and wishing for this... crazy time to all be over so we can get back to trying to decide what colour to have on our nails next.
