If you didn't rev a Harley on ...the rolling road last year you can do it this year with no risk of falling off. The weather is warming up so it's time to dig the bike out and get it ready because November 1st will soon be here. #harley #bike ride #hills #triumph #ducati #motorbike #day out #blokes See more

13.01.2022 Colleen Redman from the Mt Barker LIONS Club would just like to let everyone know that the Mt Barker Community Assist group get together that was scheduled for Thurs, 26 Nov 20 at the Nairne Railway Station has been cancelled. She will let us know when the next get together will be organised.

12.01.2022 Come along to the Lions Market at Woodside on Saturday 19th September. After getting a Sausage at the Market and some bargins pop over to the Lions Shed For more bargins. See you there.

09.01.2022 It is with much sadness that the Nairne LIONS share the loss of our fellow LION Les Walker. Les was an active member of the Nairne LIONS for 11 years and truly lived by the motto "We Serve". He was the LIONS secretary for many years and no task was ever too much for him when asked. Les passed peacefully from illness on 3 Nov 2020. Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends at this time.

08.01.2022 *****Due to an issue with the phone number please call 0416124703***** Apologies .................... Hello everyone, currently the Nairne & District Lions Club has a large pool table we are looking for a new home for. This table could be yours for a donation towards the Lions. Please be aware the table is extremely heavy as it is a slate top and you will need to provide suitable manpower and trailer to move it as unfortunately we no longer have that capability. We look forward to hearing from the next Eddie Charlton soon. Please call 0418 817 438 for further enquiries.

06.01.2022 This poor couple are waiting for a lift out of the fire affected area near Stokes Bay KI. Margie and myself willbe spending a few days on the Island promoting ...the Australian Lions Foundation, Australian Lions Hearing Dogs and Lions in general. We will be at the Parndana show tomorrow, Kingscote Club Shed opening and lookig for our post hole digger which is basically being used non stop around the fire affected areas. I will hopefully also be catching up with members of the Disaster Relief Australia workers who are currently on the Island helping farmers to restore their homes and properties. There will be plenty more photos coming over the weekend and I will probably feature in many of them so get used to it early. Ona more serious note. a driver through some fo the worst fire affected areas in western KI was eye opening to say the least and seeing how close (literally metres) the fires came to reaching Parndana is still frightening. **as per normal, I really don't know where this post will finish up but would like to see it on the District 201C2 site if possible**

06.01.2022 We are very happy to be able to foster a relationship with the Nairne Landcare Group and offer them the use of the Nairne & Districts Lion's Den as a place for them to be able to host their meetings. We look forward to a long lasting relationship serving the community in many projects to better our community and surrounds long into the future.

05.01.2022 We look forward to Aluna Firebird joining us at our Community Christmas Market on Sunday, just one of many stalls with a great variety of craft and trash and treasure that will be available in the Soldiers Memorial Hall and carpark. Free Entry for visitors.

05.01.2022 Superman aka Lion Brett donned the Santa hat and joined with other Nairne Lions members to help Flint Community Care distribute hampers and gifts to those that have been doing it tough. The LIONS distributed drinks, lollies and Lions cake to the families as they waited in their cars for the hampers and gifts at the Covid safe event.

04.01.2022 This is one of the reasons why we collect bread tags as a part of the Nairne Lions. Whilst all funds raised by the Nairne & Districts Lions Club go to supporting local people and projects we can still help others by collecting bread tags from you which can be dropped off at the Lions Recycling Shed at the Soldiers Memorial Hall allowing us to share our helping hand even further. https://www.facebook.com//a.306183170169/875960953192197/

02.01.2022 Thanks for the thank you Nairne Golf Club, it was great that we were able to add a little something for the Club to use, especially after a round of golf. :)

01.01.2022 It was great to collaborate with Nairne Landcare to do some maintenance on the Lions Anniversary Garden. It was unfortunate that the rain became too heavy so we're looking forward to catching up with them again on Thurs as they help to donate some more Australian native plants and advice on native planting.
