Rating: 9/10 Recommended: : Very Reasonable, Cheaper than any other Afghan restaurant There are so many Afghan restaurants in Dandenong, its difficult to choose. So we have decided to try them all until we decide which one is the best one. We visited Najimi Restaurant on Thomas St recently. Even though a lot of people were enjoying the traditional afghan Falooda and Sheer Yakh, which seemed very tempting but we ordered some skewers since we went there for food. We ordered one mixed kebab platter and one Jooje kebab platter with some Saffron rice and afghan bread. Everything was perfect; cooked to the core, tender, juicy and aromatic. They were generous with the sauces, bread and rice. The best part is their prices are not astronomically high as is the case with a lot of Afghan/Persian restaurants serving traditional chargrill kebabs. They also have a large variety of fresh juices.
