24.01.2022 Hi all I havent been running many art classes lately. I have been busy painting myself and getting ready for an exhibition at Ellis House in October. Plus got a little job helping people with disabilities to encourage their creativity.... I am also moving house in a few weeks! Some lovely things have been happening for me which I am grateful for. I have my original artworks for sale at Applecross Art 4/30 Ardross St I have sold a few already and keen to keep the flow going. I will resume some workshops in October at Ellis house. In the meantime I do have some private one to one classes available or bring a friend of course. These are of fun and ideal for beginners or if you just want a refresher. More info in the link from my website. Its so wonderful that we are get out and about in WA with very few cases of Covid-19. A sigh of relief. My heart goes out to others around the world who are struggling with the isolation. Take care

The colours, the crooked houses and the fallen leaves are amazing. I enjoyed painting this in my quirky style with the autumn colours. Although I have been to France I never saw Lille. After doing some research to paint this, it has made me want to visit there one day. 14.01.2022 Creative tip no.5 I believe being creative heals. Whatever being creative is for you. It could be cooking, sewing, sculpture or painting etc Its whatever takes you into the flow and makes you feel content. It can bring you back to the present moment - called mindfulness.... Let yourself get into the flow of creativity. Everything else then falls away if you allow it, which I feel is healing and surrender. It doesnt matter what you produce as its the letting go of judgment and staying in the present thats important. Trusting yourself and just play! Sometimes you need to set yourself some time and space for creativity. If you are a painter, have a space ready to paint, water and brushes ready. It doesnt have to be a big space. Youll realize that in the process of painting and playing with colour etc youve set yourself free from worry and youve raised your feel-good energy. Which then, of course, brings to you more feel-good energy, and in the process things change for the better.
