With smoke still filling our beautiful city, we will continue to monitor conditions day by day to ensure our tents are a safe and enjoyable place to stay - it hasnt been this way since mid December, with the next few weeks also not looking too promising. We thank our wonderful guests who have showed nothing but compassion and kindness throughout this unprecedented period. In times like this..., supporting each other is so vitally important. 16.01.2022 Did you know sheep graze the vineyard from April to August? They are brought in as a sustainable way to look after the grass when the fruit isnt growing. They are adorable and quite timid, but youll often find them snoozing next to the cubbies at dawn and we love their company throughout the colder months.

13.01.2022 A BUSH BAR COLLECTIVE Weve been thinking a lot about people; from those who have lost absolutely everything to those who have lost customers, sales and revenue in what should have been their busiest season. To those who havent been affected, but have showcased incredible support and community spirit, Australia wide. Like many, weve been mulling over how we can contribute to the bushfire relief effort, and weve recently had an idea that seemed fitting.... Our business is all about bringing people together with good food and wine, and we focus on local and small businesses. Its about being a collective. So, for all upcoming reservations and bookings, well be offering an add on package for visitors to have a mini bar stocked full of produce from bushfire affected businesses and areas. Weve named it the Bush Bar. Heres the details of our initiative; its a double whammy: 1. Direct Support: Well buy direct from businesses and producers in areas which are either directly, or indirectly, affected by fires, and put together a tasty fridge full of Australian goodness: cider, wine, beer, spirits, tea, coffee, honey, chocolate, cheese, crackers, dried meats, olives - you name it. 2. Fundraising: Guests will be able to add on the Bush Bar to their stay, with 100% of any profit donated to a bushfire charity/s (were still researching as to wheres best to donate but will update soon). If you have anything you would like to be included in the mini-bar hampers, know someone who could do with the help, or would like to be involved please dont hesitate to get in touch.
