21.01.2022 Sadly our vision was halted by COVID 19. I really hope the work we did with the villagers had at least some impact of these beautiful fur babies. We have a balance of $918 sitting in the account and would like to ask our supporters if they have any objections to us donating this to the local dog shelter? They are coming into winter which is an awful time for the puppies there and we think it would help them with blankets and food.

21.01.2022 An update as we have been quiet for a while. Our beautiful doggies are out of food and we are working with the village from Aus trying to get someone to attend the city for more supplies. This was never going to be an easy project

18.01.2022 A huge thank you to the fantastic work and dedication from the staff and volunteers at the Hobart Dogs Home. Matt and I were fortunate enough to be taken around the home on Sunday by the CEO and his lovely wife. It was interesting to see the work that happens to each dog before going through to the adoption process. The amount of money they need to spend per dog can range from $50 to $2000 and continued donations are desperately needed to help. Thank you to our beautiful supporters of the Namaqumaqua Village Dogs Fundraiser as Matt and I previously posted, we were finding it difficult to continue due to the global pandemic and travel restrictions. The remaining balance of the funds have now been donated to the Hobart Dogs Home where we know will be put to great use.

18.01.2022 We are now looking at later this year for the desexing program due to a shortage of vets being able to travel to the area at this stage. Matt and I have had a bit of a tough start to 2020 with a serious illness diagnosis to a close family member and the loss of another of our beautiful fur babies - Lilly. We won't be able to attend for the desexing but have committed to the funds raised for this and we will ensure it gets done.

10.01.2022 We are waiting on an update from Animals Fiji. Unfortunately, they can't get a vet in March at this point. It's not all bad news though, we are now looking at June.

02.01.2022 Its a very tricky time for us all and I know it has been a while since we posted anything. I just want to let you know Matt and I made the commitment to do as much for this cause as possible. We are still holding the balance of funds raised to desex as many dogs as possible and will continue to do everything in our power once we are out of this current pandemic to ensure that occurs. Thank you everyone
