10.01.2022 Children and young adults are now developing bone spurs/bone growth on the back of the skull due to device overuse. Normally only seen developing in adults after the age of 40, these growths are forming to counter the constant additional weight of the head being in the forward position. Other physical symptoms of device overuse are neck, shoulder and upper back pain and headaches, and ‘humps’ appearing at the base of the neck.
