20.01.2022 Wishing all the Junior Crushers dads out there a very Happy Father's Day. Dads play a vital role at our club - from Club President to Coach, from Vice President to Groundsman, from Coaching Director to League Safe, from Sports Trainer to Sponsor - or even just a helper holding a tackle bag at training - we appreciate what our NJRL dads bring to our club, and hope they enjoy their special day.

19.01.2022 For any girls who are keen and in the right age bracket...

19.01.2022 Grassroots sport couldn't happen without volunteers. We thank those many people in our club who freely give of their time and energy. There is always something that needs doing. #legends

17.01.2022 Well done to all the players who trialled for the Sunshine Coast Falcons Cyril Connell Challenge Pre Season Training Squad for 2021. We would like to congratulate our very own Tyler Andrew-Cavanagh, Ethan Daisy, Zarley Hodges, Riley Jervis and Finn Lawson who were today named in the squad. Well done! The Sunshine Coast Falcons training staff were highly impressed with the level of competition and expressed just how hard it was to make their final decisions. For those of our players who were unlucky not to make selection this time round, we're sure you will have a very good chance at next year’s open trials - Carl Witherspooon, NJRL President

16.01.2022 Some great action shots of the U14 game from yesterday. Thanks to Natalie for the pics.

15.01.2022 Down to 9 players with 3 minutes to go it was locked at 24 all. Kawana got over the line once more in the dying minutes to clinch it. Proud of you girls

15.01.2022 So close for our @ken_mills_toyota_sunshinecoast Under 16 Girls! Another valiant effort.

14.01.2022 The @allcoasttyresolutions U15s turned it on last night. 40-10

14.01.2022 Big thanks to former Brisbane Bronco Jack Reed and respected In Trust Super Cup referee Tyson Brough for coming to Crusher Park yesterday and spending time with our players, sharing their experiences and wealth of knowledge. This session was then followed by training and a sausage sizzle. Big thanks also to Danny and The Nambour Heights Butchery for generously donating the sausages and the Fearon family for kindly donating the bread. Thanks also to the parents who helped to organise and cook the sausages. What a team we make.

14.01.2022 Happy New Year to our Junior Crushers families. Let's all hope that 2021 brings everyone a better year.

14.01.2022 For anyone looking for something footy-related to do on the holidays...

12.01.2022 A holiday clinic is being held at Crusher Park - please see the picture if you are interested and visit the "Play Rugby League Central QLD" Facebook page for more information.

12.01.2022 Unfortunately, new Covid cases have emerged in South-East Queensland in the last few days, so it is timely that we remind everyone of our Covid Safe plan. We kindly ask that all players and parents adhere to the following guidelines to help keep each other safe and well: All players and spectators must check in and out at every training and game using the Eva App - the QCode to scan for this at Crusher Park is at the rear of the canteen building, near our "Medical" shed. ...This process also has to happen at away venues. Everyone must sanitise their hands upon arrival and when leaving our grounds. We have a get in, train/play, get out policy. Please do not arrive any earlier than 10 minutes prior to training, or 30 minutes for a game, and leave immediately after. The 1.5m social distancing requirement applies to all (except players when on the field). Only one parent to be at training with each player. We ask that we all try to keep numbers to a minimum, so only one parent (and where possible no siblings) attends. We also encourage a minimum number of spectators to attend games, and that all spectators maintain social distancing. Only players, officials and coaching staff are to be on the field at any time (training and games) - this means no parents or siblings please. STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE UNWELL. If you show any signs of Covid, please get tested. There is a fever clinic at Nambour Hospital. No dressing rooms are to be used at any time. Please respect the enormous amount of time and effort being put in by our amazing volunteers in enacting our Covid Safe plan and allowing our teams to take to the field. Cheers.

11.01.2022 A belated but sincere thanks from our club to the Gambling Community Benefit Fund, whose $8800 funding has enabled our club to purchase a new LED electronic scoreboard for the second field. Below is it in action earlier this year. We are very grateful that grants such as these are available to allow clubs like ours to make purchases that we otherwise may not afford, so our thanks go to the Queensland Government for this opportunity and funding.
