22.01.2022 Baumr-Ag SX62 chainsaw Bar Oil leak. This seems to be a common issue with chainsaws, no matter what the brand, so here is why this one leaks bar oil out the bottom. I also provided some information on how the oil pump works and where it is located on this machine and is somewhat similar to two smaller Aldi Gardenline machines I've looked at recently. Hope you find this information handy. Daryl. :-)

11.01.2022 When seeking information for parts, this Aldi Gardenline chainsaw appears to go by many names around the world. If you happen to be looking for information, it may also be called a Mitox, Earthquake, Gardencare, Blue Max or Yard Dog, just to name a few. What this one particular machine has in common is a reference to being a CS3700, CS3800, CS4100 or CS4200 or a variation thereof, like CS41 or CS38 or maybe CS3814 or CS4116. The sad situation with this one, which is leaking all the bar oil out, is this little oil tank grommet (with the filter) shown in the photos is not available in Australia, and to buy just one is far too expensive. :-(

02.01.2022 This little chainsaw had sat in a cupboard for around 10 years and handed over to see if anything could be done with it. Using a bit of "Start Ya Bastard" down the carburetor normally gives the machine a chance to show signs of life, but not in this case. Removed the spark plug, which showed it had spark, so gave it a shot down the cylinder, but again, nothing. Decision is made to have a look and find out what was going on. This is the result of the disassembly......

01.01.2022 Repairs of a BN7 and DGEN 750 Watt 2-Stroke Generator. Both fired up using a little "Start Ya Bastard" spray giving confidence to look further into repairing them. Both engines had badly blocked carburetors from dried up fuel, grime and corrosion, but once cleaned, are both running, however, I am yet to test their electrical output. The DGEN is also missing the fuel tank and handle.

01.01.2022 Following on from the 37cc Gardenline chainsaw, I got to have a look over this Gardenline Essentials 45cc Chainsaw with the GY-45 engine as the bar oiler wasn't working. This machine is only a couple of years old, and basically still like new. The cause of issue was the final oil feeder pipe had pulled out and twisted away from its proper position but, due to no spare part being available, the damaged pipe had to be repaired as best it could be to fix it. Benefit of this album is that it shows where the oil pump is located on this machine and how the oil lines connect.
