25.01.2022 What a great weekend. Xmas party. Then a paddle on the Taylors Arm River from Macksville via Nambucca River.

24.01.2022 Back on the water after rain and flooding delayed sessions. Nambucca River at the Heads was the scene for huge effort from the team. Paddling Blossom and the big run in tide required strength, power and endurance particularly with Coach Janice (the smiling assassin) calling the shots and sweeping as well. 8kms, mightey effort for 10 paddlers, mostly against the run in. When the fog cleared we were treated to some of Nambuccas many beauiful sights. The pristeine serenity added with all the fish activity made for a memorable days outing. Thank you team

18.01.2022 Come on down to the Nambucca Heads RSL club...the raffles are on and we are selling tickets for a beautiful fresh seafood tray and a bottle of bubbles for 2nd prize.

14.01.2022 Our club enjoyed the hospitality of the Nambucca RSL Club as we got together for a Xmas celebration. An outstanding fun filled night with fantastic mateship was topped off with a beautiful Sunday morning paddle along the Taylors Arm River. Rick and Janice then became our hosts/ess with coffee from barista Rick and gourmet cooking from Beatrice and her able assistant Iziah. An absolute pearler of a weekend for our Club. Oh! Gotta thank the Members who travelled from Armidale, Walacha , Grafton, Bowraville and a guest from Port Macquarie for the Sunday paddle. Hope to post a couple of pics from Sunday paddle compliments of Nerida in the near future. Merry Xmas to you all. Cheers Pop

11.01.2022 Well the Xmas and New Year celebrations have been and gone. Nows the time to start thinking about the adventures that await you in 2021. 09.01.2022 Capsizing to perform our annual 50m swim. The race had finished so we showed 'em what to do at the Australian Dragonboating Championships at Canberra 2019. Yeeah the mighty NRD team.

07.01.2022 Well out on the water 2day. Launched the new edition to our flotilla. Her name is Petal. Just a small Blossom. A coupla little epsy bitsy's but all stayed in the boat for the duration. Only one a bit worried was Rick, he thought he might head for a swim. But we saved him with superior buoyancy.

05.01.2022 Woo hoo! And we are finally back on the water! What a glorious day to return to paddling and with 5 newbies!

04.01.2022 Had another great days paddling. This time we introduced our newbies to the waters around Nambucca Heads. Had another debutant. Gennetta. Plus 5 of last weeks debs returned. Serenity personified totally pristinely enjoyed. See you next week at Macksville.

03.01.2022 This is the unfortunate scenic, serene, pristine area that mother nature forced us to paddle around at training on Sunday morning. Photo taken by Nambucca River Dragons teammate Sarah. So hard to have to traverse this whilst exercising the body. The gym just cannot compete with this. Dragon Boating Rules. At the end of the session we discovered the coffee van so out into the park for further appreciation and approval of nature and friends. If you ever wish to join in for a paddle you are always welcome. Cheers 2U all. Pop.

02.01.2022 Happy Lunar New Year to all our paddling friends and family...here's to a bigger and better year with good health and much happiness!
