20.01.2022 Nambucca District Rescue Squad has just hit 500 likes on our Facebook page. While we appreciate the following what we desperately need is actual operational members. We are down to 5 and that is really not a sustainable level. If we don't get "New Blood" soon the squad will fold after over 40 years of serving the community.

18.01.2022 Lately there has been an surge in false reporting around the Covid-19 virus. Please look at this post from the World Health Organisation that debunks most of the myths that are circulating on social media. Just click on the link for accurate and factual information.

The squad is now in desperate need of members to keep this service alive! It is not a massive commitment and is quite alot of fun, and you will be part of a great team helping your community. All training is provided. Please contact our Squad Captain Shannon on 0417675685 or message me for further details.

01.01.2022 SITE UNVEILED FOR NAMBUCCA HEADS CONNECTED LEARNING CENTRE Construction of Nambucca Head’s new TAFE NSW Connected Learning Centre is one step closer! Today I,... along with Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education Dr Geoff Lee, announced the location for the world-class facility would be 2183 Giinagay Way (old McDonald’s site). This multi-million-dollar new digital learning facility will greatly expand the availability of education and training in the Nambucca Valley. Students will receive personalised learning experiences, access to teachers both on and off-site, and relevant training for skills shortages of the future. CLCs are specifically designed to suit a variety of local needs so they are at the heart of the communities they serve and regional education is critical to our local communities and to our economy. This landmark investment will also complement existing facilities in the region as the first presence for TAFE NSW in Nambucca Heads. It’s truly a great step for our region’s future.
