22.01.2022 We say this a lot, but you should never polish a car unless you are fully aware of how to maintain it properly! especially a 90's era Japanese classic like this Spirt-R FD RX7 with super thin paint from the factory. Unfortunately, as this car has changed hands over time, it's been repeatedly polished down to dangerously thin levels. In order to achieve the correction the customer desired safely while preserving the original factory finish, major and precise surgical polishing was required.

The premiere package delivered well beyond these expectations and transformed the car into something that's not just respectable, but downright beautiful. 03.01.2022 Some shots of our end of year work cruise. Big shout out to our client for loaning us his Audi Sport TTRS (1 of 2 in Australia) for the Holidays. It's an exceptionally rare thing to be trusted to drive a car you have worked on. We had a blast! A more sobering thought however, is the fact this area was engulfed by Bush Fires two days later. We are thinking of arranging a charity cruise to raise money for the victims of this terrible tragedy. Comment if you would be interested in participating.

02.01.2022 Recently we have had a number of classic JDM vehicles come through the shop with over polished paintwork leaving a dangerously thin level of clear coat left. Given their rarity, many of these cars are destined for storage and if they are ever driven, it's in good weather only. Preserving their original factory paintwork is of the utmost importance to retain maximum value as an investment car, and thanks to Alchemy's Japanese polishing technology we have been able to restore... them safely and effectively as well as protect them from ever requiring polishing again. With paint so soft that even wiping off polish can scratch them, you need abrasive technology aggressive enough to remove defects while gentle enough to remove the minimum amount of material, all while leaving no product residue to wipe off. Remember, only polish paint when you fully understand how to care for it post correction, once it's gone, there is no turning back.
