25.01.2022 Despite another difficult growing season in 2020 and reduced entries in some sections, the amazing support of sponsors secured a successful 2021 RASQ Crop Compe...tition. The Champion Crop being a crop of Irrigated Wheat yielding 8.720 t/ha grown by Glenesk Farming Co (Derryck Mickleborough @ Dalby) which has yielded higher than the previous ceiling yield. Thanks to everyone who entered and of course to our fantastic sponsors! *Ceiling yield is the highest previous yield for that particular crop in the competition, which enables us to compare a dryland sorghum to an irrigated wheat for example. It also gives every dryland and irrigated entry a chance at winning the Champion crop
