01.01.2022 Welcome to our fundraising page! As most of you already know I am setting this page up to fundraise by collecting containers for cash and then donating all the proceeds to the Cancer unit at the Rockingham Hospital! My mum had most of her treatment at the hospital while battling Breast Cancer and during this time I saw a need for some simple things that some people could not afford! I am finalising what will be the best way to help some of the cancer patients at the hospital... and what the most suitable donation will be for both female and male patients! One suggestion has been a gift card to help with transport to and from the hospital and another is a small gift pack containing moisturising creme which is something most patients need! Once this is finalised I will let you all know what the money will be spent on! Nancy lost her battle with cancer in February 2019 but I know she would love the idea of helping other people who sometimes just need a little gift to brighten their day! Thank you to all my friends who have come on board and are helping to collect bottles and cans! My garage is filling up fast! I will do an update when I have new information to share! See more
