Keep reading on for dietitian Claudia Cramer's tasty Nando’s suggestions: The plate model is a way to balance out your meal by making sure you’re getting enough protein, complex carbohydrates, fat, and fibre (from vegetables/ salad). Having a balance of these macronutrients in your meals can help with feeling full and give you enough energy, plus, it helps include a variety of foods which is really important for getting adequate vitamins and minerals in your diet. It allows some flexibility with what goes in each ‘section’ and it’s adaptable all-year round. More details in comments.
