Pain can be described as an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage. Everyone describes pain intensity quite differently. This is because there are psychological and emotional factors that play a part in the perception of pain. Pharmacists can provide advice and support to assist with pain management, in addition to a whole team approach with other healthcare professionals.

08.01.2022 NSW Health is alerting the public that confirmed cases of COVID-19, reported yesterday, have attended venues in Western and South Western Sydney. Anyone who attended the following venues is considered a casual contact and must monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they develop. After testing, they must remain in isolation until a negative test result is received: - Big W, Carnes Hill 4 October 2020, 3:00pm 4:30pm... - Aldi, Edmondson Park 4 October 2020, 6:30pm 7:00pm - Chemist Warehouse, Casula 6 October 2020, 12:30pm 1:00pm - Bunnings, Crossroads 7 October 2020, 2:00pm 3:00pm - Costco, Casula 9 October 2020, 3:00pm 3:30pm Testing numbers have dropped recently, which is a concern. 08.01.2022 ISOLATE IMMEDIATELY AND GET TESTED - #CASULA PLANET FITNESS NSW Health is directing anyone who attended the Planet Fitness Gym at Casula from 4 to 10 July to... immediately self-isolate and come forward for testing after two further COVID-19 cases were confirmed today. The additional cases, two men aged in their 20s, came forward for testing after it was established a confirmed case from the Crossroads Hotel attended the gym which was subsequently closed for testing. These new cases bring the total number linked to the Crossroads Hotel to 30. Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant said it was vital that anyone who attended the gym on the dates specified get tested and self-isolate for 14 days since they were last on the premises even if they return a negative result. They should also continue to monitor for symptoms. We now have three confirmed cases associated with this gym and we are identifying the close contacts of these new cases to ensure they are also isolating and getting tested, Dr Chant said.
