25.01.2022 I am really excited about my ad in The Age today (Sunday M Magazine). Hope you like it too! My business is building, and I would love to continue to build it, as I love working with couples ensuring their ceremonies are personal, fun and memorable. Please feel free to share this with someone you may know who is thinking of getting married. Big thank you to Emma and Michael.

22.01.2022 In March this year I had the privilege of marrying a wonderful young couple, Emma and Michael, at the Mountain Goat Brewery. This week I received a lovely thank you note from Emma and Michael - which they have allowed me to share: Nandy, we can't thank you enough for what you brought to our wedding day. You really do have an amazing gift, being able to draw together the essence of a relationship and put it into words in such a way that people just GET IT. Absolutely a divi...ne skill. We felt very blessed to have had the experience we did, it set the scene for some beautiful times to come. Thank you! All our love, Emma and Michael I love spending time with couples and helping them design a ceremony that reflects them. If you know anyone who may be getting married sometime, I would love the opportunity to chat to them.

18.01.2022 We love to incorporate little people into our #wedding #ceremonies. Isn't this little boy gorgeous (and he just happens to be a part of our family.....) x

17.01.2022 Over the past few months I have had the privilege of meeting some wonderful couples and had the honour of being in involved in their wedding ceremonies. I just wanted to share a note I received from a fabulous young couple I really enjoyed getting to know and spending time with designing their ceremony, Lisa and Chris. Chris and I just wanted to send you a big THANK YOU! Thank you for helping to create a ceremony that represented us; who we are and what we value. Our family ...is so important to us so it was SO amazing to be able to create such a personal ceremony. We had a few people come up to us and say how lovely and personal it was everybody felt the connection and loved it. Thank you for facilitating that and letting us be ourselves we were so happy we found you and feel very grateful we had such a special experience creating our ceremony. I can’t thank you enough! You were wonderful!

17.01.2022 The past few months have been very exciting as Summa (my gorgeous daughter) studied and successfully applied to be a Civil Celebrant. One night last year, as we drove home from a wedding I officiated at and Summa came along for 'work experience', we began to dream about going into business together - and here we are..........2celebrants! We have officially launched on Facebook!

13.01.2022 I now have a website up and running!! Hope you can log in soon to www.nandygurr.com, and let me know what you think. Please feel free to invite others also, Nandy

07.01.2022 One more week, 7 more sleeps until a very special wedding. Our daughter Phoebe and her partner, Ben, had been planning to celebrate their engagement at our home next Saturday (7 December). Last week their informed their guests that the engagement was 'off' and the wedding was 'on'. We are all really looking forward to a special week and a great wedding day next Saturday. 7 more sleeps!

07.01.2022 I LOVE my role as a marriage celebrant, especially meeting couples and helping them create their wedding ceremony. Recently I received a lovely letter from Erin and Ian affirming my role - and with their permission I wanted to share it, just in case you may know of someone who may be getting married soon! Dear Nandy, We just wanted to thank you for the INCREDIBLE job you did in helping us create and then conducting our perfect wedding ceremony. We are so lucky to have found ...you as you gave us such important assistance. Firstly we appreciate you sharing your time generously, listening to us so closely and showing genuine interest and enthusiasm about our wedding and relationship. Secondly, we are thankful that you allowed us to have so much input into the wording and how it ran. You challenged us to think about the purposes for all our decisions about how the ceremony would be carried our and this gave us such a sense of ownership. Your suggestion that we write our own vows was so wonderful - we may have put it in the 'too hard basket' otherwise, but hearing each other's vows for the first time on our wedding day is our favourite memory. Lastly, we thank you for patiently reading and drafting the many drafts of our ceremony. We feel you really went above and beyond what we would expect. We had so many comments afterwards that you were so warm and personal, and our guests loved that you talked about us like you had known us for forever. Your delivery and presentation were very professional and your equipment top notch. There is honestly nothing we would change about our wedding ceremony and it was a real gift from you. We will be excited to recommend you to any other couples, Thank you, Thank you, Love Erin and Ian See more

05.01.2022 Nandy was the perfect celebrant for our wedding. She worked with us to make our ceremony just as we always wanted - personal and emotional while also being funny and light-hearted. We had many comments from our guests on how much they enjoyed our ceremony. Thank you Nandy for making the planning process so relaxed and enjoyable and our day so very special

04.01.2022 Yesterday I had the honour of being involved in very special ceremony - celebrating the life of a lady who passed away recently. She was a mum, grandmother, principal, activist and so much more This was my first role as a funeral celebrant, however the ceremony was far more a celebration of her life than a funeral service, and made even more special as it was in her own garden in Richmond. Thank you to her family for trusting me to be involved.
