23.01.2022 Well after being a knitter for over 40+yrs, this week I became a crocheter. Mum had decided to make herself a poncho but sadly she could not remember how to start it off and after many failed attempts she threw it in the cupboard. Thankfully Annette Fisher came to the rescue and kindly started a few pieces for Mum and she was wrapped!! So I decided I need to learn so I can help Mum for any future pieces she might want to make. This is my first piece, a poncho for my grandaughter Addelynn.
13.01.2022 Well I made my Mum proud!! Finally I have completed my first crochet blanket!! Another memory of something we did together, Mum slept most of the time but gave me encouragement along the way.
11.01.2022 To those of you who follow my craft adventures I must apologise for no posts of late. Sadly my Mum had a fall and was hospitalised, so every day I spend with her trying to keep her spirit's up. She has given all her life so is finding it very difficult to take help, which I totally understand. I hope to get back on track asap and will start Christmas goodies next month, finger's crossedI totally need some glitter in my life so baubles will probably be the first on the list. Lee.
