25.01.2022 For all you ladies with access to paddocks not Perth. Xmas table ideas. We are sprucing our xmas table with dock weed. Simple and versatile, spray to what ever colour your theme is and pop in empty wine bottles. Looks great on mass in a line or cluster, great space saver too, as they are narrow and tall. We have a long table so we are working to 7-9 and our accent this year is fluorescent green. Try to work in un even numbers for balance and remember to spray an undercoat first so your top spray colour doesn't absorb into the wood and become dull.

13.01.2022 Loving the cricket at the minute hence the 2nd zebra laughing painting, "Lol" mixed media on canvas 150 x 100.

12.01.2022 Breathing new life. A dead branch from the lilac tree takes on a new role as our xmas tree this year. We love the organic wonkiness and even though she stands at 2.5 meters, the flat pack shape is a great space saver. Branches are tied together with wool and granny knots and the whole tree popped into an old pot filled with rocks with lights on top.

04.01.2022 Flower pressing, an oldy but a goody. Personalise a card to a friend with something out of your garden, works beautifully as wall art too. You can buy a flower press from australian geographic stores but a couple of heavy books will do the trick, and any thick card stock works. Just remember which books you've put them! I've added colour ink to the first bloom after drying to enhance the colour.

02.01.2022 In the studio this week... thinking tall for 2014... a loose interpretation of the 2014 Chinese Year of the Horse. 'Giraffe' ink on canvas, 40 x 180.
