18.01.2022 Have you ever looked back over time gone by and said - "if only I had done things differently?" Truthfully we all would have had that ahh-ha moment at some point in our life. Most of us will agree life consists of rushing around here and there amongst the daily hustle and bustle, trying to get the most out of every hour/minute/second in each and every day. Once that time is gone we cant get it back, we cant store it for later, so we need to use it wisely, allowing the cor...rect amount of time for us needs to be put into that equation as a priority, life is way too short not to. This year, especially over the past few months, (for myself) opened my eyes to truly prioritise what I want, what I need, and what is available to me, for me. Learning to take a breather from the mayhem that surrounds me, slow my pace and be truly in the moment. Ive learnt a lot about my environment, gaining awareness of space, and what my surroundings may hold. Reading the subtle signs that are portrayed by those I connect with. These signs can help with learning lessons, if we allow them in. Knowing who our true friends are is something Ive learnt most of over time, I am so blessed to have some beautiful souls in my now-life and am blessed to be able to share time with them. I feel a lot more confident now as I have finally come to a place of growth and transition where I feel perfectly balanced, having the space I need, the access I want, the freedom to plan out, provide and gain in the way I want, when I want. I feel comfortable using all my knowledge, abilities, and confidence to teach others how to grow also. I can support and assist others in many ways, with my Community Connections Social Group, helping each other, providing connectedness, inclusion, understanding and so much more. I am blessed to have a space to cater for the many types of programs, classes, etc, although mostly a place where anyone can join in and have fun, relax, be themselves, sharing creative knowledge and abilities with each other. you are all welcome to join us, for a cuppa, chat, join in the activities, or just be there to feel a part of our community for more info please contact me Happiness and Calm to all xxxx Sue
18.01.2022 Sue & Mari from Firefly Lithgow will be visiting Portland in the coming weeks to chat to families on potential programs for children aged 0-6yrs. Then we stuff it with filling and embellish. You can bring fabric, ribbons or buttons from home if you like. Materials supplied. Your mini-me can be your companion at home or a gift to your kids or grandkids. Or just make one for fun and a talking point. You can be as creative as you like! You can make yourself wild and woolly or just soft and cuddly! Please confirm attendance for catering etc
09.01.2022 #WeAreOne #WeAreTheSameInside #WeCanDoAnythingTogether
09.01.2022 Knowing how hard it can be to take that first step allowing others to look inside with the struggles we face and the reality that these situations can cause our whole family network. It doesnt matter how strong we are, or how dedicated we want to be, there are times when we realise that it can be just too much to face. They are the times we need support from somewhere to keep going. Lithgow Nannas Touch ASD Support is something I set up to let others know that we can ...be that helping hand when they dont know what to do, where to go, or who to talk to. Having the personal experience and knowledge to what they are facing helps them be comfortable about seeking help. If you, or someone you know, is struggling in any way, for any reason, contact us, come along to our social group, no need to do anything, have a cuppa and join in with what ever activitity we are doing, bring your own crafts along, or just chat, listen, relax Were here for everyone, youre all welcome A gold coin donation provides tea/coffee, refreshments, and more. Happiness and Calm to all Sue
