25.01.2022 The end of Term 2 at NEPS is traditionally celebrated with a Crazy Hair and PJ’s Day. This year some of the student leaders organised an event to take place in one of the favourite parts of the school, being The Forest. The production included an audience, green room, a catwalk and stage. Each student got to show of their look with a stroll down the runway, followed by a quick interview on stage, and then fishing with a favourite pose. Enjoy.

24.01.2022 Welcome back to our students who are returning today! A extra special welcome to the new students starting at NEPS.

23.01.2022 Grade 6 bollards. Our grade 6 students have begun working on a very important Nanneella Estate tradition. This week Charlotte, Gabi and Meg began planning and painting their bollards. These bollards add some eye catching colour to our yard and are a wonderful reminder of our past students. This week it is all about preparing the bollards and painting an undercoat, next week the designs will be added. Stayed tuned for an update!

17.01.2022 100 days in the Littleroom! Today our Littleroom students celebrated their 100 days at Nanneella Estate. Our Littleroom students bought a bag of 100 things from home to count, they made special 100 glasses and made a 100 days of school book. The Bigroom students surprised the Littleroom with a special outdoors, giant 1-100 snakes and ladders game which we all played together in the afternoon.

10.01.2022 I know this might not be the news everyone wants to hear but it is the action we need to take to slow the spread of Coronavirus and help save lives For schools... in metro Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire, VCE, VCAL students, Year 10 students who do VCE subjects, and special school students will return to face-to-face learning on July 13. School holidays will be extended for a further week for other students who attend these schools. School staff will use this week to prepare for a possible return to remote learning for prep-year 10 from July 20. There will be no changes to Term 3 for regional Victoria other than Mitchell Shire. Schools outside of metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire will return to face-to-face schooling for all students on 13 July.

09.01.2022 The Premier has announced we will be returning to Leaning From Home on Wednesday 5th August. We’ve got this NEPS! We have done it before and we will do it again. 09.01.2022 A frosty start at Nanneella Estate this morning, even at 11.00am it still felt like 0 degrees. We’re making the most of the lunchtime sunshine now

08.01.2022 Term 3 will begin on site for all students at Nanneella Estate Primary School next Monday 13th July. There are changes to schools in the Melbourne Metropolitan and Mitchell Shire areas, but our school is unaffected by these changes at this stage. We will continue with the enhanced hygiene controls and restricted access measures which were in place last term. ... We look forward to seeing all our students back in class on Monday.

03.01.2022 Wonderful, fabulous news that came through last night!! Our beautiful meeting circle is a finalist in the Keep Australia Beautiful Awards- Indigenous Culture. Our meeting place is a special place and very much a part of everyday life for our school community but to be a finalist in this award makes it even more special! Well done in particular to Charlotte, Isabella and Shay-lee for being our school spokespeople in the interview process a few weeks ago, you all spoke clearly and were very passionate about what the circle means to our school. Great job everyone!!

02.01.2022 Vale: Alan Pearce The Nanneella Estate Primary School Community was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Alan Pearce, a past principal of our school. Alan was the principal in the 1990’s when many small schools were under threat of closure due to the change in government policy. Alan worked tirelessly with the School Council President, the school community and the Nanneella community to ensure Nanneella Estate Primary School stayed open. We offer our condolences to Yvonne and family.

01.01.2022 This term is all about Physics at NEPS! Over the next few weeks we will be focusing on simple machines-wheels and axles, levers, wedges, inclined planes, pulleys and screws. Today it was wheels and axles. Once we had completed construction we raced them down our inclined plane at the front of the school.
