20.01.2022 Well that's the end of another school year! For those that missed my speech at the Presentation night and for the community I'd just like to share it here. Once again thank you to everyone who stood by me and helped in one way or another either by donating or helping at events. It was immensely appreciated and I have thoroughly enjoyed working along side you all and building a relationship with the wider community. Cheers Kristina Teale ... Good evening everyone, The presentation night is nearly over for another year, thank you for staying until the end. As some of you know I became the P&C president this year after Mark Wyncoll resigned to become to school board chairman. Many people were encouraging me to take on the position as president but I was nervous and reluctant so it was left open for quite sometime. Then we had to re-register with Wassco, the governoring body for P&C association so I decided to give it a go being the President, thinking covid will make it an easier, quiet year. Well how wrong was I!! We have had a super busy year despite covid and had many successful fundraising events. Some more challenging than others to put together and run but with an awesome committee and team of helpers they were achievable. I'm very honoured to be part of such a supportive, hard working and fun group of people and thank everyone who has helped in one way or another. If anyone of you are here still can you please stand up so everyone can see how many people it has taken to keep the P&C funds coming in which help support the school and mostly benefit the children. I'd also like to acknowledge the support we've received from outside the school community from local businesses, community groups and community members. Again we couldn't achieve most things without their support. Thanks to all of you who have been involved with making the P&C so successful in such an uncertain year. We will now draw the raffle. Thank you.

14.01.2022 We had our last Breakfast Club for the term and I wanted to say a big thank you to all our amazing volunteers. We have a dedicated crew who are there every week and we are grateful for the support from the community groups. Volunteers are needed for next term - please let Lia or Jack know if you can help out. Check out how much Breakfast Club has grown in just over one term - from just a fridge then to some storage space and lastly a freezer. We couldn't have done it without all the help so thank you to one and all

13.01.2022 Is your child getting an award this week at the assembly? Maybe you will be there to watch your child's assembly performance? Or are you going just for the sake of it? If you are why not come a tad earlier and come along to our P&C meeting this Wednesday at 12.45pm and share any ideas you may have or just see how we plan all the things that benefit YOUR child or children.
13.01.2022 I feel privileged to have worked with such wonderful group of people at yesterday's sausage sizzle and Father's Day raffle which was a great success. It was a fun filled experience and we were lucky to have a steady flow of people despite the weather being a tad undesirable, thank goodness it wasn't today! I would like to acknowledge all the people, young and old who gave up their time to come help set-up/pack up, cook and serve and sell tickets - who could say no to a child ...dressed in their uniform supporting their school Otto Taryn Watson Sarah Green Katrina Wilson Tanya Coffey Wendy Moore Ian Greenwood Keryn Mcllroy Mark Wyncoll Students - Jorja, Tyler, Olivia, Ethan, Evie, Mikayla, Roise and Sam. As you may have seen yesterday the lucky winner of the raffle was Yr 1 school student, Hamish who was so excited to have won he filled the tool caddy upon receiving it. A special thanks to Charlie Ferguson from the Men's Shed for coming along to assist with the raffle draw. I hope everyone who came by or those who helped enjoyed the day as much as I did. I know some much loved pooches who were lucky to be brought a tasty sausage would have! Last of all many thanks to our sponsors (see photo), to the Lamb van for gifting us some kebabs after we packed up - super tasty and to a generous local who purchased 2 hot dogs and said keep the change....from a $100 note, what a kind and very much appreciated deed Cheers Kristina Teale P&C President **Have permission to share all photos**
12.01.2022 The other day a lovely member of the community messaged the P&C and told us how she had nominated our committee into this competition. To give us an extra chance at being a potential winner we thought we'd share the link for others who might be keen to help us out! The competition goes until April next year so plenty of time https://www.9news.com.au//47177422-a14f-4654-9cd7-3680e60d
11.01.2022 HELP NEEDED!!! The P&C has a fundraising sausage sizzle booked in town for Saturday 5th September 8am-2pm. We have support from the Nannup Lions Club to help fund & run the sizzle but desperately need volunteers from our school community to help out. For this to be a success we need numbers, if you’ve ever thought about volunteering & have a spare hour or two, we need you! All the money raised goes to the school & our children. Your support is appreciated. Thanks
08.01.2022 Apologies for the late acknowledgement post! The P&C food stall at the sports carnival was a huge success on Friday. We raised enough money to fund the upcoming dance/disco incursion. It couldn't have been as successful as it was without all the support, help and donations that came from the school and wider community.... *Thank you to the awesome people who helped set up, run the stall and pack up. Great group of helpers, we couldnt have got through the busy, hot day without all of you. *Thank you to everyone for all the kind donations of food to sell. *Thank you to Eziway/Wendy's for the bread donations. *Thank you to TigerValley for the venison and pork sausage donations. They were VERY popular and sold extremely quickly! *Thank you to Chad and Pearl for donating 10bags of ice. *Thank you to the Community House, Wild Eye Shop, Kerrie Dunnett and Jonathan Beames for loaning us gazebos. We took up everyone's offer as the ones we didn't need to use, we set up for all the spectators who were very thankful.
07.01.2022 Who's begun the countdown to the return of school? It's not that long now! To help with your preparations the uniform shop will be open Monday 25th January 10am-12pm and Friday 29th January 9am-10am. Also for any new families starting at the school this year, the P&C have been nominated for an award so if you'd like to meet some P&C members/other parents before school starts some of us will be at the Australia Day breakfast at the foreshore park on Tuesday from 8am. Of cour...se families already at the school are welcome to come down as well, hope to see some of you there Kristina Teale P&C President
06.01.2022 The P&C are taking advantage of the Flower & Garden festival crowds and having a sausage sizzle and Father's Day raffle this coming weekend - Saturday 5th. This is to assist with ongoing cost of the Breakfast Club, to help purchase a freezer and to help subsidise end of year dance incursion/disco. It is no ordinary fundraising event though! We've been lucky enough to have the support of not 1, not 2 but 3 other local groups/businesses - the Lion's Club, the Men's Shed and the... hardware store. The P&C are extremely grateful for the support and donations from all involved. Come down to say hello at the village green between 8am & 2pm, grab some food and/or drink as well as raffle ticket. **Not all tools supplied for the raffle item**
06.01.2022 Check out this fun filled evening for the older children in Nannup. Be sure to tell/remind them and encourage them to go so this wonderful program can continue for their benefit
