25.01.2022 Like nowhere else in the world, The Limestone Coast is the dreamiest of them all and the perfect reminder that we live in a great state. From Coonawarra’s 26 cellar doors and Mount Gambier’s famous sinkholes to Robe’s gorgeous coastline, regardless of your final destination, the journey to get there is just as thrilling. Our secret faves are The Kilsby Sinkhole where you can snorkel or scuba dive and if you enjoy a tipple, you can taste their amazing Kilsby Sinkhole Gin. Then there’s the Umpherston Sinkhole that’s definitely the most Instagrammable location in SA and of course, The Blue Lake which is a vivid BLUE between November and March! If it’s been a while, or you haven’t been yet, it’s one of the prettiest holidays you’ll ever do. We love you Limestone Coast! #12daysofSA #greatstate South Australia

24.01.2022 Something to look forward to everyone!

21.01.2022 - : A number of new restrictions will be implemented for South Australia from midnight t...onight as a hard and fast approach to containing the Northern Suburbs COVID-19 cluster. From midnight tonight, the following restrictions will come into place for the entire state of South Australia: Gyms, recreation centres, trampoline and play cafes will close. Pubs, clubs and restaurants will be capped at 100 per venue, with a limit of 1 person per 4 square metres and no stand up consumption (even outdoors) and a maximum booking of 10 people. Funerals will now be capped to 50 people, with a limit of 1 person per 4 square metres. Churches will be capped at 100 people, with a limit of 1 person per 4 square metres. For weddings, all guests must be registered with the CDCB via an online form, but there are no other changes at this stage. Gatherings at private residences are now capped at 10 people per residence. Private gatherings at licensed venues will now be capped at 50, with a limit of 1 person per 4 square metres and no stand up consumption. Community sports fixtures and training will be temporarily canceled. Outdoor fitness activities such as boot camps can continue. All activities with an approved COVID Management Plan scheduled for the next two weeks will be cancelled. For personal care activities such as nail salons, tattoo parlours and hairdressers, masks will be mandatory for the service provider and encouraged for the client. Theatres and cinemas will revert back to the 1 per 4 square metre rule. Schools will remain open. In regards to aged care facilities, masks will be mandatory where physical distancing can not be maintained and personal care workers are limited to one site only. Each person will be allowed two visitors per day. The Premier also advised that people work from home where possible, and that vulnerable people stay home and to avoid having visitors. It's also being advised that people don't travel unneccessarily, and to wear a mask at times where it's not possible to socially distance, such as when using public transport. At this point, it's expected that restrictions will be in place for two weeks, though this can be adjusted depending on how the situation develops. On this matter, Premier Steven Marshall said "We don't want to keep these new and changed restrictions in place for one day longer than what we need to, but the health expert advice at the moment is very clear. We are to act hard and early and keep these restrictions in place for as short a period of time as possible."

03.01.2022 A bit of info about the scavenger hunt on Sunday 15th November as part of the Family Fun Day; Teams of 2 - 4 need to be registered via the Penola Coonawarra website. Registration closes Monday 9th November - https://penolacoonawarra.com/scavenger-hunt/ There are three different age brackets; 4-6 yr olds will be "hunting" around the Mary MacKillop primary school oval, the lavender farm and the herb garden. 7-9 yr olds will have questions that take them as far as the main stree...t but not crossing Church street. 10+ yr olds (up to 16) will have questions that take them as far as the Penola Primary school. There will be plenty of volunteers on hand, we do ask that the younger teams have an adult to help them with reading the questions etc. There are prizes to be won and lots of fun to be had while discovering a bit about Penola along the way. If you have any questions please let me or the RBCA know. Also if you would like to volunteer some time that is greatly appreciated, the more the merrier . We would love to see lots of people at this free family event. See more
