We can confirm that the market is definitely moving with plenty of applications for finance coming through! A combination of a high number of applications in the last 3 months, increased scrutiny on applications and offshore processing centres being closed has resulted in some lenders being 8 weeks for approval whilst others are able to maintain 48 hours. In relation to the RBA rate cut yesterday only about 10% of banks have announced what they are doing at the moment and we expect further announcements to come over the next week or so.
