08.01.2022 Hi everyone, hope you're all safe and well. I've been trying some new recipes and decided to share some of them with you all. Hoping that these recipes will give you some motivation to try new things in the kitchen and keep you busy. First one is savory polenta bread or as we call it in Turkey, corn bread. This bread is crunch, crumbly and soft at the same time. Can be eaten at any meal time or as a snack. I prefer eating it hot with some butter and cheese for breakfast. ...If you like polenta you will love this recipe. #polentarecipes #turkish #cornbread #polentabread #homemade #stayhome #keepbaking Polenta Bread (Savory) Ingredients 1kg Coarse Polenta 1 + Teaspoon Baking Powder 3 Tablespoon plain yogurt Cup oil (Any oil would work. I used sunflower oil) 1 Tablespoon Salt Cup Plain Flour Boiling hot water (Approximately 2 + cups) Method Preheat the oven to 190C fan forced. Brush a square or a rectangle baking tray with oil. (I used a rectangle roasting tray. Pyrex trays would also work) Put all the ingredients except water in a large bowl and mix well Add one cup of boiling water and mix it through with a spoon Then slowly add more hot water. (Half cup at a time works well.) Add water until it becomes slightly sticky. The mixture should not be too wet or too dry. Pour the mixture into the tray and press it down slightly, score the dough into slices and bake until the top is golden. Drop the oven temperature to 160C and bake further 5 minutes. Enjoy

05.01.2022 Kimchi is one of my favourite thing to eat during winter so I try to make it every year before winter arrives. If you want to give it a go at home, here is the recipe I use. Remember it contains probiotics which supports your immune system and it's low in calories. https://www.feastingathome.com/how-to-make-kimchi/ #kimchi #homemade... #homemadekimchi #fermentedkoreangoodness #fermentedfoods #immunebooster #winterfood See more
