20.01.2022 TIGERS CLUBHOUSE Unfortunately our clubhouse was broken into and vandalized last week. Thanks to the vandals for the clear sets of finger prints left behind that are now with the police. Sad to see this happening in our community!

18.01.2022 SUNSETS INSTEAD OF FLOOD LIGHTS it has been so nice doing mini training on Friday nights with the sun setting #narrabeentigers

18.01.2022 TIGERS AGM Our annual AGM this year is going to have to be a zoom event. This is taking place at 7.30pm on Wednesday 23rd September and all players families are encouraged to take part. The Tigers like all community clubs, can only operate successfully with the expertise and work of a dedicated committee. A committee needs all different types of expertise and the more members in the committee the more the roles can be shared around and the stronger the club will be.... Please see original email from our president about committee roles and details on how to join via zoom. #narrabeentigers #allinthistogether #volunteers

13.01.2022 Some great action shots from our U16s at Keirle Park yesterday..

13.01.2022 Wow what a Super Saturday to finish off our Tigers Girls Season. Starting with the Terrey Hills based SNGR at 8:30am and finishing 8pm at St Ives Rugby Club, we had such a strong showing from all our girls teams. Starting with U10 Black and Golds facing off in the semi final.... The Golds would go on to defeat Newport in the final thus becoming the first winners of the Tui Ormsby Cup. To go from 4 players to 2 teams had already made it a successful season. Welldone Matt, Dermott and Courtney. Then it was our defending premiers U12s turn with 8 new players to the team making the GrandFinal was a wonderfull achievement. Whilst the final result wasn’t ours, to push a dominant Newport team to overtime, is something I know their coach is super proud of. In the evening our U14s kicked things off with an unlucky last minute 10-15 loss, to Gordon Next game was against one of the Seaforth super teams and whilst unable to get the W, for the first time in all the games they have played each other - we scored a try To round off the season an under strength U16s ( thanks Ruby and Lily from U14s) played some superb rugby. As the game somehow ran longer than it should by 3mins( there’s no last play in 7s we’re claiming a 15-10 win over Gordon and down another player for the 2nd game the girls held tough for a 15-10 win over Eastwood. Huge thanks to Graham and Michelle for looking after both teams. Special shout out to Coach Graham. Coaches U11 Boys Wednesday, U14 and 16 girls Friday as well as the Rats girls 7s program 7am Saturday morning coaches meetings and 4:30pm Sunday’s training sessions. Throw in Saturday evening and Sunday morning games. We are very privileged to have such commitment. With a 100% increase in girls at Tigers this year, next year can’t come quick enough. Thanks to everyone involved for a great albeit short season. See you next year.

08.01.2022 MINIS That’s a wrap for the minis season 2020 and what a season it was! Good luck to our u9s who have now played their last game of minis and head into juniors next season. Also, thank you to all the sponsors, coaches, managers, volunteers, parents and players who helped us have a season during a very abnormal COVID-19 time! 2021 will be bigger and better... GO TIGERS! #narrabeentigers #tigersminis #thatsawrap

07.01.2022 Some great images from our u10s playing in the rain yesterday!

01.01.2022 NARRABEEN TIGERS AWARDS FOR 2020 Our club can only run due to the commitment of parents, coaches, managers and many many volunteers. Since we didn’t have our presentation day we wanted to acknowledge the following award recipients for 2020. Rachel Yates - Club Person of the year. Awarded for the enormous contribution she has made to the club in 2020 through her joint Coordination of the Minis Competition and for taking on responsibility for Social Media, significantly impro...ving our communications this year. Layne Kelleher - Coach of the Year Layne has been been involved with the club for over 10 years, happily sharing his years of playing experience in his quiet and calm way. Every year he shares his time between 2 teams culminating this year in coaching the U12's as well as Assistant coaching an A Grade U16's, turning up to both trainings week after week, year after year. Thank you Layne for your constant and strong commitment to the club. Tracy Faulkner - Manager of the Year Managing a group of U16's is tough. Managing, organising and expanding that group is even tougher, but Tracy has managed to do that with a calm and easy manner. From struggling with numbers in the U15's to building a huge squad that was moved into A grade. Keeping teenage boys out on the pitch and playing together as a strong committed team takes a strong committed manager who really cares about each and every player. #narrabeentigers #volunteers

01.01.2022 Welldone to the U13 Ratettes who played a 4 game gala today. Splitting their results Losses against, Western Raptors and Central Coast to start the day.... The girls regrouped to win the remaining 2 games. Versus Randwick and Southern Districts. With 9 of the team coming from our U12 and 14s teams. Half never playing full field before, it was a great effort all round. Thanks now Coach Graham and our manager/president James and Michelle. Also special mention for Sofia Royle from our U16s who as the only female, refereed 5 games during the day. Welldone everyone involved.
