25.01.2022 Jiggle ‘n’ Wriggle is on as normal tomorrow in the Performing Arts room Jiggle ‘n’ Wriggle is on as normal tomorrow in the Performing Arts room

25.01.2022 Today the choir celebrated the end of a fantastic year with ‘Festival Sing 2020’ at the Naracoorte Town Hall. This was a sing-along movie created in lieu of the Adelaide Festival. Due to COVID-19, all of the opportunities for performing were cancelled this year. Only once before in the Festival of Music’s 129 year history have concerts been cancelled, and that was in 1919 due to the Spanish Influenza. Along with students form Lucindale Area School, our choir had a great time and danced, sang and bounced along to a variety of songs and orchestral arrangements. Choir is a wonderful opportunity at NPS for year 4-7 students.

23.01.2022 Here are some short videos of the choir today. What a wonderful experience.

22.01.2022 Please read below the latest Covid-19 update. Thank you.

22.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE We will continue to monitor the advice from SA Health, the Government and the Department for Education and enact protocols accordingly. During the state wide lockdown school remains open for children of essential workers or vulnerable children for Thursday 19th and Friday 20th. Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th are designated as pupil free days but we will remain open for children of essential workers or vulnerable children with a ‘skeleton’ staff on du...ty for supervision. Schools have been instructed to limit the number of adults on site to comply with lockdown rules. No learning program will be conducted. School buses will run as normal on all 4 days to cater for children of essential workers or vulnerable children. We await further advice regarding what will happen after the 6 day lockdown and will keep you informed through SkoolBag and Facebook as the situation changes. Thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time for all. Stay healthy and stay safe. See more

21.01.2022 Soon Miss Caldwell will be getting married to Mr Woolard. In Art we designed and created some wedding dresses for her. We worked in groups and had lots of fun. We finished with a parade. Here are some of our designs. We wish them all the very best for the future and look forward to seeing some photos. The Year 3/4 Caldwell and Smith Classes.

19.01.2022 This term Mrs. Wirper's class has participated in the Commissioner’s Design Challenge, ‘Space to Dream’. The challenge was to design a toy or gadget, using the 6Ds (Solution Fluency design process) for someone their age who is moving to Mars. The class used Makers Empire, a 3D design program to create their design which was then 3D printed. Much to the delight of everyone! The students have done an amazing job and can be very proud of their efforts.

17.01.2022 The 5/6s from Mrs Donnelly/Miss Gaffney's class and Mrs Mahoney's class are currently working on a STEM project which is looking at ocean plastics. Students are developing their own inquiry questions and have come up with ideas already such as, 'Is most of the plastic commercial or consumer?', 'How can we clean micro-plastics from sand?' and 'How are plastics harming birds or fish?'. JoJo Spook helped us make a start on the artistic side this week.
