25.01.2022 This morning President John and Secretary Jan attended a drought relief presentation at the Rotary monument at Narellan Town centre where the Rotary Club of Na...rellan presented cheques of $10,000 each to 11 local dairy farmers who are doing it tough in the current drought conditions, so far the Rotary Club of Narellan has received pledges of close to $200,000 that will be donated to local farmers once it is received Many local organisations have donated to the appeal including Camden Council, Staff at Camden Council, the Perich family, A2 Milk, Clintons Toyota, The Rotary Club of Campbelltown, The Rotary Club of Ingleburn and many others. The organising committee will determine the next round of recipients and will make further donations in the coming weeks. The Rotary Club of Ingleburn is pleased to be able to support our local dairy farmers. In addition to our donation of $5,000, we expect to be able to provide a further $10,000 raised by Ingleburn RSL Club towards Drought Relief projects in the coming weeks.

12.01.2022 Commemorating the Centenary Anniversary of the Armistice at the end of WW1 at Brownlow Hill War Memorial. Today, on Remembrance Day, we attended the unveiling ...of the restoration of Brownlow Hill Soldiers’ Memorial - a project which Lucy alongside her classmates have been involved with over the past few months researching to put together a booklet to remember those that did not return. It was a wonderful service that brought together this small community of all ages. The project showcased a community effort involving the Narellan Rotary, local scouts group, local council, community volunteers, libraries, historical society, churches and Macarthur Anglican School students and staff. The monument has been restored, the memory of the 9 soldiers is now forever etched in stone and in the booklet, the area has been beautified and now stands renewed at the top of the hill. I was proud to be part of the day and to see so many friends among the crowd that were contributors. By restoring this memorial and maintaining its integrity we will remember them. Lest we forget
