24.01.2022 Another amazing night for our LRH Cancer Care Unit fundraiser. All up we estimate that our Shave For Jo has raised just under $25,000. That's two new Chemo chairs and quite a few Patient care trolleys. Deanna and Karen were the ladies who shaved tonight. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to our cause, to all our employees and volunteers who donated their time to work the two nights, to all our sponsors for the awesome gifts for the raffles and to everyone who was able to attend our two great nights. 05.01.2022 We’d like to introduce you to these three fabulous ladies from our Narkoojee team. This weekend they will be shaving off their hair in support of their work colleague Jo, and to raise funds for the Latrobe Regional Hospital Traralgon Gippsland Cancer Care Centre (GCCC). Deanna, our Venue Manager. The go to for all things Restaurant and Events. She is passionate about helping others in her community, for amazing food (she’s also a qualified chef) and absolutely adores her gorg...eous family. Deanna joined us at Narkoojee this year, and despite the COVID challenges she continually approaches each day with an infectious positive energy and professional leadership to be admired. Karen, is our Accounts and HR Manager but also wears many hats at Narkoojee including cellar door, restaurant and in-house photographer. When not at her desk you’ll find her pursuing her love for photography or taking some time out to enjoy a day fishing with her partner Dave. A very proud mum to her boys and her wonder dog Buddy, that has already had more than nine lives. Kerrie, is our longest serving employee (21 years & counting). She’s as loyal as they come and an ever reliable all rounder in our vineyard and labelling room. Born and bred in Glengarry, she’s incredibly proud of her town and community, would do anything for her kids and grandkids, loves her fishing and is partial to a Narkoojee Sparkling Red! The two ‘sold out’ fundraising nights will be held this Friday 13th and Saturday 14th November at Narkoojee.
