18.01.2022 The weather might have been cold but that never stopped over 50 members and a few visitors fishing in this months comp and it was very nice to see some great fish weighted in The big winner was Bridget Smart who cleaned up winning both charter vouchers on the wheel spin plus winning the juniors section and a meat tray . For this time of the year there was some good flathead mowies pigfish and a few gummies from outside and on the beaches there wete some huge salmon caught while paul showed mick kavic how to land some big bream So next month at the end of the comp we will have our AGM so any members wishing to step up and get involved in the club you can nominate for a position on the committee which is a lot of fun

14.01.2022 Seems karen spackman was the number 1 fisho on john Moores boat last week and was oh so close of being the overall winner but was pipped at the post by a stud bream if only that long fin perch had stayed connected For this time of the year there are still some good kings at the island taking squid and jigs and they are in good condition being full of fat the upper reaches have some big bream hiding in the clear water and the beaches have some good salmon on the prowl Just a reminder at the completion of next comp on the 4 of August the AGM will be conducted and all relevant information is on the fishing clubs notice board

14.01.2022 Some of the fun had by the members and our sponsors at Sundays Christmas bash in rotary park Santa did a wonderful job and made lots of little ones happy so enjoy the pictures members and have a happy Christmas from the fishing club committee

13.01.2022 Hi All This Saturday at 11 am Bar Beach Narooma members from other local fishing clubs NSGFC, Tuross FC Dalmeny FC Mourya FC will be gathering to show our views to the greens that are having a paddle out . These supporters of the NPA and all the other fringe groups are pissed off that Constance and Marshall reviewed and removed SZ these groups that are protesting for the reinstatement of SZ now want 30% lockout and are driven by green MP Justin Field so please show your support in wearing your fishing Club shirts to show these things that after 14 years of reviews we have had enough of POLITICAL MARINE PARKS

12.01.2022 Hi To all our members It looks like were going to re start the fishing comp from next month so we will pick up on our usual date for October which is Friday 9th and weigh in will be 1pm on the 11th at Club Narooma Amber will send out a group

12.01.2022 It was a pity to miss this months weight in but more pictures will follow later but captain Nick Ingersole on Narooma charters sent through a picture of a sample of fish the members caught on micro jigs today up north around potato point By all accounts they got some top quality snapper mowies and shorty also landed one of the biggest PigFish ever seen so after seeing what sea eagle has been returning with the past weeks its time to get a feed before the tourist arrive for Christmas and members dont forget its our Christmas party next month to be held at rotary park
