23.01.2022 Our volunteers do not crawl out of bed at 4am to respond to a call for help for the praise, they do it to help their community in a time of need. Each and every one of them deserves a round of applause as "Thanks" Thank you to all first responders for the amazing things you do! #naroomarescuesquad #vrarescue... #ThankaFirstResponder See more

19.01.2022 At 11.30 this morning a call come in for Ambulance assist. A group of bush walkers had a member fall and hit their head on a remote bush track on the north side of Narooma. Along with the police, members cut a track in to allow the Ambulance 4x4 gain closer access to the patient. After more than an hour the patient was conveyed back up to another ambulance to be transported to Moruya Hospital in a stable condition.... It is a timely reminder to have the Emergency + App installed on your mobile phone to allow emergency workers a more accurate location of injured or ill persons. Stay safe. #vrarescue #NSWAmbulance #nswpolice

18.01.2022 COVID - 19 UPDATE There are a few changes that have taken place with the way Narooma Rescue Squad operates that you might notice. We hope you understand and can help us through the next few weeks.... Some of the changes include: We are cancelling all non essential community engagements for a while. If you come to our rescue shed for any non life threatening issues we are not going to be able to let you And unfortunatly we won't be able to shake you hands for a while. Behind the scenes we are doing a lot of hard work to continously decontaminate our trucks, uniforms and headquarters to ensure us and our community are protected. We are still able to respond to emergencies and have plans in place to keep you and our team safe. Thanks for the support we could not do this without everyones support. #covid-19 #vrarescue
