This Sunday we have our Presentation Day where we celebrate another successful year for all participating Nippers, parents and volunteers. The day will start as normal at 9:15 am so please be on time as we have a lot to get through and there will be a BBQ at the end with plenty of sweet treats from our good friends at Bakers Delig...ht Warriewood. May even throw in some lucky door prizes of toilet rolls and tissues. Just in case you want to swim the weather as stated by BOM - Partly cloudy. Slight (30%) chance of a shower. Winds southerly 20 to 30 km/h. Swells are around 4-6 foot. The beach should be empty as most other people will be fighting in the toilet aisle so come down. Become Involved To make sure that our Nipper program can run successfully it is important that parents get involved and put their hands up to offer assistance. A successful Nippers program is only possible with the support of parents and volunteers. Parents can get involved by becoming Age Managers or assisting in other areas of the Nippers program. Age Managers courses are available, which educate parents and volunteers on Nipper beach and water activities. Some parents also become involved by gaining their Surf Bronze Award and volunteering as water safety personnel, or by manning the IRB. Presentation day starts with electing the officials for next year including Age Managers and other various roles.so if you think you would like to get more out of Nippers this is your time to shine! If you are unable to make but would like to volunteer for a position i.e. Age Manager, admin etc. please let myself or someone know prior to Sunday so we can fill the positions ready for next season. Regards Brett Worne Director Of Youth

It was a great club champs last week with some of the youngest (U11) placing against the older age groups well done. We could only do the dry and will catch up the wet. This was because we were overridden by the guard due to the surf conditions. I know some people get frustrated when age groups dont get to do the swim however safety comes first.
