24.01.2022 Spring Comp kicks off tomorrow and we are reminding everyone that we are still operating under the NSW Health exemption for Netball as per our winter competitio...n. While we have slightly increased the number of people allowed at each game, we do ask that you follow our Covid Safe Plan for both John Fisher Park Curl Curl and Melwood Netball Courts. All spectators will be required to check in at their game for Covid tracing and to social distance along the sidelines. We thank everyone for their support in keeping our sport safe. #mwna2020 #wereallinthistogether

10.01.2022 CRAZY SOCK DAY TOMORROW!! This year Crazy Hair and Sock Day will be dedicated to Alana de Kort who was a dedicated player of netball at MWNA and played for Collaroy Netball Club. Alana passed away from cancer two years ago aged 15. Alana loved pineapples and the colour turquoise. Alana's mum Jacquie de Kort has set up a foundation called Blue Bottle that raises money for the Kids Cancer Project. Jacquie will be at the courts tomorrow in a Blue Bottle shirt and will be taking donations. She will also be selling pineapple bracelets and bumper stickers for $3 each.

09.01.2022 Get a team together for Spring Comp !

08.01.2022 How many spectators can attend a junior game? Clause 7 of the exemption states that MWNA must, to the extent possible, limit the number of attendees at the comm...unity sporting activity, and further, to the extent possible, seek to ensure that only one guardian or parent is to attend junior netball per player. The use of the wording to the extent possible reflects that there will be exceptional circumstances where more than one spectator will attend with a player. However, this should be avoided wherever possible. This is a critical clause which has enabled this exemption to be put in place. We know that it will make the netball experience different for many families this year, but we do request that MWNA must abide by this clause and carefully monitor this on competition day. How many spectators can attend a Senior game? Parent/spectators are discouraged from attending games. #mwna2020 #netballisback #wereallinthistogether

06.01.2022 We have received several requests especially from new coaches on how to put a training session together. With most teams still only training for an hour our Coa...ches Development Coordinator Deb has put a sample session together to share with you all. It can be easily increased to 90 minutes if required. Don't forget that warm down is just as important as warm up to help prevent injuries. We have many more coaching tips available under the coaches tab on our website. #mwna2020
