22.01.2022 A big thanks to all the children that signed up to play this year, I hope you enjoyed this year’s competition, it has turned out to be a great season with over 230 kids registered, from what had occurred earlier this year with the pandemic and lockdown. To the Parents /careers thanks for bringing them each week and adhering to all of the covid restrictions, and to all team managers / coaches thank you for volunteering your time each week. Also, to the Wee Waa united fc Club -... thanks for travelling in each week the club thanks you for your support. I would like to thank the Committee members for another great year, from the meeting after covid (the first wave) we were all unanimous and we were all in about the season going ahead, mainly to give the kids something to play & look forward to each week, and who doesn’t like playing soccer ever weekend. It was also a tragic year for our committee, with the passing of Graeme Sunderland, who was a member for the past 15 years and he was like the father figure of our new Committee. Like to thank the Junior and senior Referees, again matches can’t go ahead without you. Hopefully next year we can produce some more referees, looking for some more adults to come forward to complete the level 5 course online which is free Visit NIF website and follow the links. To Alisa and 123cafe team for coming along each week with the coffee van IF you like to come join the committee, we have some goals that we like to achieve but need some more people to come forward and join our team and help us grow soccer in narrabri, AGM will be held in November so please look out for it.
