14.01.2022 School Holidays We will be running some 2 day mini no camp camps for those in our designated COVID zone. Due to COVID restrictions we can only accept 9 p...articipants per weekend, one parent per child, BYO food/drink and there will unfortunately be no camping. Activities will include flat work, jumping, mechanical cow and tracking, working the barrel pattern, trail adventure & horsemanship with a show preparation section for the over 12’s. 3rd and 4th of October for under 12’s 5 positions left 10th and 11th for over 12’s 1 position left $300 per child PM for details & registration

09.01.2022 Expressions of Interest are invited for the volunteer caretaking service of the Narrabri Showgrounds. As caretakers you will be the first point of contact for m...any visitors to the Narrabri area, a cheery disposition and outlook in our caretakers is vital. The caretakers role would suit a couple whose responsibilities include undertaking visitor check-ins, collection of caravan park/camping fees, and to provide information and support services for caravan, RV and camping visitors, casual enquirers, check-in and support for events, sporting and cultural organisers and patrons and maintenance and cleaning of the grounds, buildings, toilets and showers. A new three bedroom air-conditioned plus office caretaker’s cottage is provided at no charge along with utilities. A mobile phone is provided for the caretaking service. Official First Aid Certificate training will be funded by the Land Manager Board where necessary. Candidates can send their Expressions of Interest outlining their relevant experience and resume to Narrabri Showground Caretaker EOI, PO Box 3036, Narrabri NSW 2390 or they can be emailed to [email protected].
