20.01.2022 NARRA requested East Gippsland Shire Council (Council) to attend to urgent safety repairs and maintenance to the Bus Shelter located on Birrells Road (near the Lake Victoria Road intersection). Today the bus shelter was removed by Council. It appears the substantial repairs were uneconomic and a full replacement prefabricated bus shelter is to be provided. We will keep you informed. Included are photographs of the dilapidated bus shelter and the vacant site following its removal.

13.01.2022 Today the Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews announced masks and face coverings will be mandatory for Greater Melbourne (Melbourne and Mitchell Shire residents), in a new measure to slow the spread of coronavirus. The rule will come into effect from Thursday 23rd July 2020 with a $200 penalty for people not wearing a mask or face covering while in public. Therefore any residents who travel to Melbourne should be aware of this upgrade to the State of Emergency restrictions. Da...niel Andrews said: "If you are out of your home for one of the four permitted reasons, then you need to be wearing a mask. "It need not be a hospital-grade mask, it can be a scarf, it can be a homemade mask." https://www.sbs.com.au//masks-to-be-mandatory-in-melbourne

The good news is we will make sure the event in October 2021 will be the most spectacular Garage Sale we have ever hosted!
