24.01.2022 While conditions across the state of NSW have eased, our crews have been busy dealing with a fire in Eden’s Wood Chip Mill. Please note: we’re sorry for the sound glitches in this video. We did our best to improve it and have added subtitles to compensate.

22.01.2022 It has been a busy week for the crew at Narrandera. 25/2/20 @ 11 pm Truck Fire, 15klm east on Sturt Hwy. A B’double fridge van suffered a blown tyre which caused a fire in the front trailer. The driver acted quickly to remove rear trailer and the prime mover but unfortunately the front trailer was unable to be saved. 28/2/20 @ 8:20pm Truck Fire, 30klm north on Newell Hwy. Truck carrying bales of hay had sustained bearing issues on the rear trailer which ignited trailer and a... number of the rear bales. Quick action by FRNSW and RFS crews stopped the fire from spreading to the entire load. 29/2/20 @ 6:04pm Truck Fire, 10 klm south on Newell Hwy. B’double tanker had suffered a collapsed wheel bearing on the rear trailer. RFS crews attended and cooled the wheel compartment with FRNSW on scene to assist. 1/3/20 @ 2:40am Building Fire, a local sporting club sustained minor damage after a fire broke out on a wall in the dining room area of the club. Flames clearly visible on arrival but quick actions by nearby neighbours with a garden hose help slow the spread of fire. FRNSW crews entered the building in Breathing Apparatus and hose lines to quickly extinguished the fire and contained the fire to area of origin. Great work by all!!
