20.01.2022 We have a question for you! We are working on a Cultural Plan for Narrandera Shire. A Cultural Plan isn’t just about arts and music, it's about everyt...hing that makes the Shire what it is, what makes us unique. It will include Aboriginal culture, the sport we play, our natural environment, our history, our buildings and our people as well as what are considered the arts. We are going to ask you a daily question to understand what you think is important about Narrandera Shire, what you love, what you treasure, what should grow and change and what should be preserved forever. The 1st question is: 1 WHAT MAKES NARRANDERA SHIRE UNIQUE?

03.01.2022 Cultural Plan Questions 3 IF YOU HAD FRIENDS VISITING WHERE WOULD YOU TAKE THEM TO SHOWCASE NARRANDERA SHIRE?

03.01.2022 Local artist Kerri Weymouth is selling the remaining works from her 'Remnants' series which were printed by Master printmaker Basil Hall. The designs are a trib...ute to her uncles, designers Ross Weymouth and John Claringbold and their award-winning dresses. Each design is a limited edition run of 12 prints. Please get in touch with Kerri on 0407 233 240 to purchase a print for $50. "The remaining collection of 12 prints that were created for an exhibition that was held at the Griffith Regional Art Gallery in 2017 called Remnants as a thank you and tribute to my uncles Ross Weymouth and John Claringbold. I owe so much to these men and will be forever grateful to them. Those who know me know I was particularly close to them both, having lived and worked with them both from the Nicholas building on the corner of Swanson St and Flinders Lane in Melbourne. So these prints are close to my heart. These prints are an artistic response to the 12 Gown of the Year’s that John and Ross won between them over the many years they worked in the rag trade in Melbourne. The prints have been printed by Master printmaker Basil Hall from Canberra. There are 12 designs and each design has a limited edition of 12. The Griffith Regional Art Gallery acquired a full set for their collection, as well as another set being housed at Your Health, Griffith."
