24.01.2022 10am Presidents Day today. Starting at 10am. (The Argus and Bowls News had 9am. That was incorrect, a typo)

23.01.2022 Shane Dunnett’s first Presidents Day was held on Sunday 13th with a very good roll up of our local bowlers. First place winners of the day, on a count-back and by only 1 shot, was the team of Ian Rankin, Bruce Russell, Richard Durnan and Neville Limbrick with 2 wins, 35 points. Congratulations gents. After the first 12 end game, a beautiful roast lunch was served by Tania and the Three Greens Bistro. Then it was out for the second 12 end game, which was a little harder... due to being so relaxed after lunch. Although it was a different format this year due to Covid-19 and there being no visiting district teams, all 12 teams, 48 bowlers, enjoy the day. Congratulations again to the winning team and thank you to the bowlers who were able to support this event. 22.01.2022 Huge Congratulations to our Redbacks Lincoln Gooley and Graeme McComber for their win today taking out the Zone 8 Pairs Championships defeating R Potter and M Wynd from Temora in the semi-final 25-20 and then went on to win the final against R Claffee and M Vicary from Tumut 25-4... Great effort gents

16.01.2022 The TerryWhite Chemmart Graded Triples played on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October was a huge success. With 48 very happy bowlers enjoying the two day event, Match Committee Chair Bob Blackshaw was very pleased with the outcome, thanking the sponsors, bowlers, club board of directors, management, staff and the rink volunteers. A special Thank you to those teams who traveled from neighboring towns to play in the comp, spending a couple of nights relaxing in Narrandera. A spec...ial Thank you also to all our volunteers who tend to our three wonderful greens. They are just superb. The bottom Bull Rink is playing better than many have ever seen it play. Thank you team, you are all greatly appreciated for your selfless dedication to our club, greens and surrounds. To Tania in Three Greens Bistro, Thank You for the absolutely beautiful lunch on Saturday. In third place were Richard Durnan, Barry Rankin and Lenny Clark with 4 wins/1 loss 72 on a count back. Coming in second was visiting team from Wagga Rules Club, Rod Cramp, Dennis Rawlings and Martin Smith with 4 wins/ 1 loss - 73. Taking home the win in first place was Jack Harrison, Cody O’Keeffe and Wes Kiley with 5 wins 89 points. Congratulations to the place getters and a job well done to all teams.

09.01.2022 Dixon Fours results from Round 3 Semi-Final on Saturday saw Peter and Richard Durnan, Steve Zak and Peter Sheather defeat Matt and Mark Thornton, Ian Black, and John Ingram 28-17. The other Semi-Final match saw Lincoln Gooley, Jack Harrison, Graeme McComber and Dave Hoffmann defeat Cody and Garry O’Keeffe, Matt Grant and Derek Makeham 28-20. The Final was an exciting match and ended with Lincoln Gooley’s team defeating Peter Durnan’s team 21-17. Congratulations Lincoln’s team and thank you to all bowlers who took part in this club event.
