25.01.2022 His mummy says he's the goodest boi. He looks like he knows it too!

23.01.2022 if you have a G&T in the forest with your husband and you didn't take a photo did it ever really happen? In an effort to be more present in my life lately I've been taking less photos as a trade off for making more memories. I've too often caught myself bringing my phone along just in case I miss something, but what I'm really missing out on is the joy of feeling something that can never be captured in a neatly organized collection of pixels - like when a hawk recently sa...t down on a nearby branch as we were enjoying a coffee only to fly off again three seconds later, startled by me reaching for my phone. My husband said he was beautiful, but I can only imagine. Literally. I'm happy to confirm that life still happens, even without the photos to prove if. Especially without the photos to prove it. And G&Ts taste that little bit sweeter See more

23.01.2022 Not my usual kind of shoot, but it was pretty fun (and just a little bit messy!). Any guess what we were all up to?

22.01.2022 So much goodness to share from Bianca and Paul's wedding at Terindah Estate yesterday, but this is one of my faves from when we snuck out as the sun went down for a few shots. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I usually suggest taking a few moments around sunset not only for the photos but for the time out it gives the loved up couple as well. It's totally worth it on both counts.

21.01.2022 Hey guys. Before I pop it on Gumtree/Marketplace etc are any of my toggie friends after a Canon 135 L (f2) lens? It's in very good condition, being much loved but rarely used (much like the treadmill I bought last year! ). It comes with lens hood, pouch and box. $750. (And please feel free to share if you know of anyone that might be interested).

21.01.2022 I have all the love for family sessions at the moment, and it's such a great time of year for them (that evening light! ). I'm attempting to put a special deal together just in time for Christmas, though I may be after your thoughts on various options. So watch this space!

19.01.2022 Four weeks to Christmas, peeps! Where have the last two months gone, anyone got any ideas??

19.01.2022 One of my Christmas gifts to you this year is a beautiful fine art album, valued at $850, choc-o-block full of joy and images from your portrait session. These are one of the three gift choices that come with a booking or session voucher purchased before December 23 (see the recent posts for more info - or email me via my profile link). These come with engagement, family or newborn shoots, as well as Fresh 48 sessions (one of my faves!). Or just about anything else worth capturing.

19.01.2022 A little bit of love and sunshine at Riverstone Estate.

18.01.2022 SILENT AUCTION - the finale! Those of you following along will know I've been putting a portrait session and files (to the value of $850) up for silent auction on the tenth of the moment, for the last four months. Today is your last chance to grab one of these sessions (just in time to make an awesome Christmas gift!) which are raising funds for the Ten Summits Challenge. So what do you do if you’re interested in bidding on a portrait session with me, to be used any time within the next 12 months, anywhere in the world* Simply click on the link below which will take you through to the Instagram post you need to write your bid on. Thanks, and good luck! :) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bcf58rtAzmK/

18.01.2022 Here's a little confession for you; I'm good at capturing sweet moments, but terrible about organising things like Black Friday sales and lead-ups to Christmas specials. So let's skip the whole black/cyber weekend thingy shall we and let me try and build a sense of anticipation by letting you know I have a few special offers and gifts for you heading in to Christmas, especially if you're hoping to have some special photos of your family to put under the , along with an opportunity to give back to the local community - because we all need a hand this time of year. Stay tuned and start anticipating, and I'll let you know more about it tomorrow.

18.01.2022 How to make a Collingwood car park look hot. (Thanks Dan and Rach for lending me your awesome selves...)

17.01.2022 For those who may have missed the exciting news, over the last few weeks I've been working with our local CFA team to put a 2020 calendar together. It's been a blast! Here's one of the images that DIDN'T make the final cut - now can you imagine the ones that did! Keep an eye out on the Wandong Fire Brigade page for details on how you can support our local fire fighting team and purchase a calendar as soon as they're available, and please help get the word out by sharing with your friends. x

16.01.2022 Always do things your own way!

15.01.2022 For those of you familiar with the five Love Languages (if you're not, you should totally look in to it!) - my primary love language is quality time, followed by the giving and receiving of gifts. This means I love to give things away - with intention, of course! It's probably not the best love language to have when also trying to run a business but it makes me happy, so there's that. Giving gifts is one of the main ways I show love, so to express my love and gratitude to you... this Christmas I'm offering something special with each portrait session voucher purchased before December 23rd. And you get to choose your gift as well, from the following options: . Option 1: Receive a 20 page fine art album, along with with your digital files package (valued at $850). . Option 2: Buy one, give one free. When you purchase a portrait session voucher you'll receive the gift of a second voucher to pass along to a much loved friend or family member (also valued at $850). Or you can team up with a mate and go halves - I don't mind either way. :) . Option 3: For those who aren't fussed about getting gifts (I get it, it's not everyone's love language) I would love to sneak in a 25% discount off your session voucher instead. I wouldn't want you missing out! . ALSO - and I might be a little bit excited about this part - for every session purchased I will also be donating 25% of the fee to our local Foodbank in Wallan. That way we both get to team up and show some love to those finding it a bit tough this time of year. . To find out more, or to go ahead and grab your voucher, shoot me an email via the link in my profile. I'm looking forward to sharing the love!! See more

14.01.2022 If absence makes the heart grow fonder I must be the dearest person to your heart right now! But I'm back after a bit of a much needed vacation from the land of Facebook, and looking forward to reconnecting, sharing, giving what I can, and being super chill about it all. It may end up a mish mash of randomness in here, but hopefully tied together by a thread of love for all the things I adore - wedding and family celebrations, coffee, chocolate and, of course, love itself. Thanks for hanging around, now lets get back to it.

12.01.2022 When your wife steals a kiss from the dark side

12.01.2022 One of our sweet participants in a special project I've been working on with the Wandong CFA team. It's going be so hard narrowing hundreds of photos down to 12, if you know what I mean.

11.01.2022 I did a session with these guys over the weekend, and I've been looking over their images wondering which ones to share (theres a lot!) and what to write - mostly to grab the attention of you folk. But, really, it all comes down to me simply wanting to share a picture of a beautiful family that I spent a fun and relaxed couple of hours with on a Saturday afternoon. They opened themselves up to me and I saw something pretty wonderful. Now they get to see it too.

08.01.2022 Looking at these three babes and ignoring the fact that I have three days worth of dry shampoo in my hair and may still have my pjs on under the clothes I'm about to do the school run in. Welcome to the glamorous side of a work from home photographer mum life.

08.01.2022 I'm dead from all the cuteness. Dead. Can't wait to share the end result of this shoot - who wants a teaser?!

07.01.2022 Not forgetting this image from Rachael and Mark's wedding over the weekend, which looks bigger and better over here on FB, compared to the tiny squares on IG. I love me a good silhouetted sunset portrait, almost as much as I love hanging out with guys like these two.

06.01.2022 This time in four weeks I'll have hiked to the top of six of the ten highest mountains in Australia, in two days. I'm hoping to have done a headstand, something like this, at each summit as well - so long as there's enough people jump in and donate $100 ($100 = one headstand on one summit). You can find out more info via the link in my profile and heading to the recent update. Of course, any kind of donation - no matter how small - will be gratefully received and put to great use raising support and funds for MJD research. Thanks friends. xx

05.01.2022 I love this viewpoint regarding timing your Instagram posts (for any others out there that like to overthink everything like I do...).

05.01.2022 Say hi to Titan, and some of the crew from the Wandong Fire Brigade. You can find them on the cover of the 2020 Calendar we've been working on over the last month or two. The calendars are available as of today (YAY!!), and all proceeds will go towards our local CFA and the vital work they do (which we're all acutely aware of at the moment). Please let me know if you'd like a copy, and I'll make sure to get one to you. There might even be something special included as our way of saying thanks for your support. xx

04.01.2022 This is my friend Bec, the face behind the Ten Summits Challenge. Those who follow along will know I'm joining Bec in the challenge next year, and helping to raise funds and awareness in the meantime. You'll also we aware I've been running silent auctions of the tenth of each month (so there's another chance to bid coming up in 2 days' time), but this month, being the last opportunity, I'm also offering a very limited amount of sessions at almost half price - for those that want to ensure they nab a spot, or aren't so great at remembering to bid. ;-) You have from now until 12pm on the 10th of December to donate to the Ten Summits Challenge and grab your guaranteed session. Follow the link in the comments and head over to the blog for more information. Thanks so much. xx

04.01.2022 Amanda, Adam and Fry on their Biig Day. I knew this would be my favourite photo before it even popped up on the screen in front of me. The 'moments in the middle' are always the images that stand out most to me, often summing up the day in a single frame - just like this one. I hope this makes you smile as much is it does me guys. What a cracker of a day!

04.01.2022 This made me chuckle a little because, like most photographers I know, I am a total introvert. Which seems at odds with the job I do but, like most, I'll chat to every man and his dog when I have a camera in front of my face, and can mingle like there's no tomorrow. But most social events that involve hanging out with more than my three closest friends have me like 'Nuh-uh. No thanks. I'll just be over here with my book and a friendly but non-threatening glass of wine.' ... So, just as a handy tip, I actually love it when I need to travel for weddings. Because it means I can be all in while I'm there, but then not have to speak to a single person for two whole hours. It's a win-win life for us introverts. See more

04.01.2022 I'm not ashamed to admit I jumped in on the action when some of Kirsty and Kevin's guests set up an impromptu shoot with them. Who am I to let a moment of fun pass me by, especially when these are the ones that tell the stories that matter

04.01.2022 A perfect example of why I don't listen when people tell me they get nervous in front of a camera. I think I got to share the weekend with the happiest couple in Melbourne. Congrats again to you Rachael and Mark.

02.01.2022 Fun Fact: I've only ever been on a horse once. It wasn't even so much a horse as a pony. But the pony took off on me, I didn't know how to control it, and I freaked out. I don't think I've been back on one since, though more from lack of opportunity than fear. So I think these guys are super lucky to grow up with horses in their back yard, and get those sweet horsey cuddles whenever they want. And being all wrapped up in daddy's arms at the same time makes it a gazillion times better.

02.01.2022 Last light at Priscilla and Paul's aaahmazing wedding. And so great to have discovered a new 'local' wedding venue. More please.

01.01.2022 I still have a few copies of the 2020 calendar I worked on alongside the Wandong Fire Brigade. These would make a great Christmas gift, while helping to raise much needed funds for our local CFA. Let me know if you'd like a copy - I'll even cover the cost of postage to get it to you. x ETA: Forgot this bit but the calendars are $15 ea, with 100% of thr proceeds going back to the CFA.

01.01.2022 Upcoming brides who want to make an entrance... You're welcome.
