20.01.2022 Welcome to the 2020/21 cricket season. We hope you’ve all been keeping safe and well in these interesting times. The good news is the season is going ahead and we're getting closer to a start date This cricket season, like everything and everyone else, will be impacted by COVID 19 and is going to be a challenging one ... The club is working extremely hard in the background in getting our COVID SAFE plan in place. The Junior season is planning to start on 21st November The DDCA has decided to move to have even year age groups, to fall into line with other associations This coming season we plan to field teams in Under 10’s , Under 12’s We can also gladly say we will have an under 16 team this season. We already have a near full side, with coaches in place and are looking for a few more players. If you have any friends that have missed out on their sport during the winter months, share this with them and ask them to come and play cricket at the Narre North Cricket Club. Junior Registrations have been opened up on the Play Cricket Website so you can get on and start registering now. We will be capping our numbers so we can keep everything manageable from a Covid 19 perspective. The link below will take you straight to our registration page, or just search Play cricket and then look for our club https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details Senior cricket is looking at starting on 28th November. The season is going to be all One Day Games for all grades, Turf & Synthetic, with 14 rounds in total followed by 2 weeks of finals. We haven’t finalized our teams at this stage but we can confirm we are still in Turf 2. We will look at other grades as we confirm our numbers. We will keep you posted with more information with regards to fees and other matters as soon as we can Training commencement dates are yet to be finalized, Keep safe and lets all look forward to our day in the sun again !!

17.01.2022 Hi all, The club has received great news that we will be hosting a couple of grand finals this weekend. It’s not hard to realise that this is a massive opportunity for the club, unfortunately we weren’t able to have any teams make it into finals but this is definitely the next best thing!... With great opportunities comes big responsibilities, and we are calling on everyone to join in and do your bit to help out. From setting up and cleaning on Friday night, to setting up the grounds, running the bar, canteen and bbqs on Saturday and Sunday’s. This is a team effort that needs as much hands on as we can, we are going to be setting up a roster so we have a structure to make sure the days run as smooth and successful as they can, any question please ask or if there is certain things you want to do then let us know so we can pencil you in thank you

Our number one priority is the health and safety of our members and the broader community and feel this is the correct decision in the current environment.... 07.01.2022 Hello all u18/s Update, for us to go forward with 18s we'll merge with Fgcc playing under permit for Fgcc. This allows our players to represent nncc at senior level . No player is obliged to play 18s or seniors, it's their choice but I need to know asap on 18s. Playing & training venues yet to be determined ... Col

05.01.2022 Gday everyone . This Saturday and Sunday the club is hosting a Turf Semi final We are hoping that we could get as many volunteers as possible to help with running the two days . ... Apart from set up which will likely be Friday night we will need volunteers to help run the canteen and bar . Obviously the more people we have the greater we can spread the load. Any time you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Also and most important this week the league would like us to have the covers on the wicket area all nights in the lead up to the game . Tomorrow dependant on the weather which we will monitor during the day we anticipate that it will be later in the afternoon that we put them on . Again the more help the better and quicker we can get them down . We will give updates regularly on this and the seniors page as to what we are thinking and timing. At the moment I think there's 6-7 that are keen Not enough but I've heard thru grapevine that fountain gate have similar numbers. Please get in touch asap regarding interest, if enough we'll see what can be done. To go forward at this level we need full commitment ... Cheers Col
