25.01.2022 Our final coach to celebrate is our wonderful Jess. She has coached very successful Tinies and Subbies teams and is currently doing marvellous work, coaching our inters team. She started at our club in Subbies at age 5, competed up to Seniors, and has this year, decided to grace the stage again in our Masters team! Jess played a big part in getting our NWCC studio to happen and is now on committee as our social media guru, doing a brilliant job! Meet the amazing Jess!

We hope all our Cala families and Cala friends are safe and extend our thoughts to those who have been affected by the fires .... Our studio is coming along , many hours have already gone into setting up our new home . The floor was started on Friday 3/1 and still under construction today . There is a Working bee still in operation today 5/1 and tonight and next Saturday 11/1 Volunteers welcome . We are so excited !!!- it has been hard work but but the end result will be so worth it . 20.01.2022 Well what a productive day . We can all hardly walk but after 7 hrs of of sweat and labour , the old carpet and underlay have been pulled up And kitchen tiles removed . Thank you Rach , Ronnie ,Dwayne,Brock and Les for amazing hard work . Les the kitchen tiles would have taken us forever without you . You are an absolute legend ! Thanks Dwayne for delivering couch and losing up trailer and all the edges you pulled up ... 13.01.2022 Staying connected during lockdown is what is going to get us through both mentally and physically This is Judy and her daughter Kimmy. Judy was the club president for many years and is the reason we have the best medals at the concert. Kimmy is our current president/Masters coach and doing an amazing job. This beautiful family includes 3 generations within the club. Kimmy, Judy & Lily (Kims niece) all connected via Zoom this weekend during our Club Connect session. What a ...precious moment being able to do calisthenics all together!

08.01.2022 What an amazing year for our club 2019 was. We had our Tinies, Juniors, Inters and Seniors all compete in a higher division. All sections won lots of medals, and our Sub Juniors came Runners up at CV State titles. To end our year, we got the keys to our very own studio ! Finally a place to call home.... 02.01.2022 No Class Because of Coronavirus? Lets Train Online Hello to all our members, families and friends ... Well these are certainly unprecedented times but how do we live and survive without calisthenics ? We dont !!! Sport may be classed as a non essential activity - however calisthenics members will never agree with this . Just because "social distancing" means your classes got canceled, your training doesn't need to stop. NWCC will use social media to keep In Touch with our members weekly . Rest assured , Your coaches are committed to you and your team and already doing this . We have full intention of progressing with the routines the sections are learning and will continue to roll out new work online via Facebook . We may be isolated but we can still be unified . Think of it as a family that loves each other but is distanced for a while , not by choice but by circumstances outside their control . We held a committee meeting tonight and discussed controls and measures moving forward we could put in place as a club . We have a plan but must meet the recommendations and advisement of powers higher than us at this present moment for a couple of weeks . We received entry forms for our team competitions to be held later in the year , And will submit those this week . It is important for our members and coaches to remain positive and together we can work through these trying and testing times and come out stronger than ever . Our thoughts are with our NWCC families who will all be affected at this time . Together we are stronger and we need to be here for each other . Reach out , support each other and although we are all feeling physically isolated, lets use social media to be present and remain safe and Healthy .
