24.01.2022 Narrogin Agricultural Society would like to take this opportunity in thanking all of the stall holders, exhibitors on the oval and inside the Leisure Centre and all of our foodie stalls for attending the Show to help it make it a great day out.

23.01.2022 Very disappointed that our AGM couldn't get off the ground last night with only 3 people in attendance. Our AGM will now be on next Tuesday, 11th February @ 7.00pm at the Mayor's Parlour (inside the Town Hall). If we don't get a quorum for the night the Narrogin Agricultural Society will be closed off and there will be no more Annual Shows for this town and the community.... Considering this would be our 115th Show and also the longest running event in this town, it is very disappointing to see lack of support from our community. So if you want the Show to continue into the future for your children, get yourselves along on Tuesday night & show your support.

22.01.2022 Cannot forget to thank Cardile Fireworks for their awesome display last night. As most of you noticed we did organise the satellite to pass through at that exact time!!

19.01.2022 A message from Peter Cooper, CEO of the Royal Agricultural Society of WA It is with genuine sadness that, in conjunction with the State Government, we confirm the cancellation of the 2020 Perth Royal Show. At every step of this process, we have been working with the State Government to develop a safe event which the WA community can be proud of. However, with the continuing outbreaks of COVID-19 in the Eastern States and the reemergence of the virus in New Zealand, it has ...become increasingly clear that we cannot proceed while simultaneously guaranteeing the safety of the public. While there is of course disappointment in making today’s announcement; as the CEO of this distinguished, not-for-profit organisation, I feel enormous pride in the hard work; dedication and courage of all those involved in the preparations for the 2020 event. The fact that we were unable to deliver this annual showcase is no reflection on the efforts of our staff; volunteers; competitors and council. On the contrary their belief in giving the people of WA the event they deserved and their determination in the face of unprecedented challenges, should be applauded. While there will be tough decisions to be made over the next few months, one thing is certain. The Perth Royal Show will be back and we look forward to opening our gates to the thousands of showgoers, from across WA, very soon.

19.01.2022 To the public who are not happy that Sideshow Alley is not open tonight - please don't have a go at the Narrogin Agricultural Society committee we have been organising the show over a 11month period and we were only notified later today that tonight was not happening by no fault of ours! Definitely will not happen again..

17.01.2022 Big thanks to one of our followers for noticing that the AGM notice was for 2019 and not for the coming year of 2020. All amended and up to date notice attached.

15.01.2022 Oops, I had signed off but as usual when thanking people we may forget some so thanks to : All the schools in our town (Narrogin Primary, East Narrogin Primary, Narrogin Senior High School, Narrogin Agricultural College) and Zoe Quartermaine + high school students for the Photography Image Display. 14.01.2022 Narrogin Agricultural Show will be held on Saturday, 31st October in 2020!Narrogin Agricultural Show will be held on Saturday, 31st October in 2020!

13.01.2022 Just to advise our FB followers that after a lot of deliberation & discussions the date for Narrogin Agricultural Show will be back on Saturday 17th October - celebrating 115 years. The reasoning for our change back is that unfortunately no carnival operators are free to support our show on the 31st October and the other date we were looking at - 21st November was too late in the year, with exams, Christmas parties being organised, etc. There will be exciting new additions to... the Show on our regular date so keep an eye out on our page for 2020. Thanking everyone for their support in 2019 and we wish everyone a great Christmas and a safe New Year.

13.01.2022 Our sincere apologies to the public as Sideshow Alley will not be open tonight but only tomorrow. We were advised this afternoon.

11.01.2022 Look forward to 2021 - Show will be on Saturday 16th October. Theme - Bees So if you are looking for something to do through the COVID19 virus whilst at home, start using your creative ideas to either exhibit or place outside your homes 'Bees' ready for 2021.

Don't panic majority of the executive roles will be filled so we just need committee personnel!!

07.01.2022 I did say I was signing off but as usual there is always something that pops up that you need to do straight away and I did miss in saying thank you to Olympics Hockey Club who toiled away in the bar majority of the day & night. 03.01.2022 Our page will be quieter in the next few months, as we do a debrief to improve on this year's show for next year and also prepare for our Annual General Meeting which will be posted on this page, so if you are interested in helping out (not necessarily on the committe but helping out leading up to, on the day and of course, the clean up), we welcome you on board. We are always looking for new ideas to improve so as we are a small committee at the moment it is you, the public, that can come on board with these ideas for future improvement. Thanking you all for your comments on our page whether they are positive or negative. Good bye for a short time!

02.01.2022 Tomorrow will be the Show Day - so do come along and enjoy the day. Lots of free entertainment for families and friends organised by our very small committee. Please do come along and enjoy the day and remember to slip, slop, slap as it will be a warmer day tomorrow. If you are wanting to stay after the fireworks and enjoy the live bands please have something to wear afterwards as it will cool down during the night.
