17.01.2022 We love getting feedback regarding our Shire of Narrogin Caravan Park Narrogin Tourist Dollars.

17.01.2022 The Shire of Narrogin and the Shire’s Townscape Advisory Committee, have recently purchased and installed a purple bench seat on Williams Road, outside of the N...arrogin Hospital, in support of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The seat has been provided for community use, but also to prompt thought and conversation around preventing family domestic violence, especially towards women and hopefully stamp out this devastating community issue. In WA, one in five women has reported experiencing partner violence since the age of 15, according to the State Government. The Purple Bench Project started in Canada in 2015 and has since spread across the globe, with the Women’s Council for Domestic and Family Violence Services helping to establish benches across WA. For support, call the Women’s DV Helpline on 1800 007 339. Pictured here is Leigh Ballard, Shire President, Dale Stewart, Shire CEO, and Councillor Jacqui Early, Townscape Committee Member.

Dawood’s Barber Shop has a line of chairs for the fellas not minding the wait, where they can read the paper or have a chat. The Shire President, Leigh Ballard, and the Narrogin Chamber of Commerce Chairperson, Bill O’Neill, visited the new Barber Shop on Egerton Street to wish Dawood every success in his new and business and thanked him for his confidence in Narrogin’s and wider district’s community.
