25.01.2022 Morning Everyone. I'm chasing 2 lovely people who could help out warming up the dishes for our casserole tea tomorrow night. About 5pm to 7pm I would expect. Also, still need one person to be a goal umpire for B-Grade. Would love everything to go smoothly for our first game so please help out your club.

23.01.2022 Round 6 already!! This week we travel to Williams on Sunday and need all our supporters there to cheer us on. Coaches, can you send me through your final teams as soon as you have them. We only need a couple of volunteers this week. A goal umpire for B-Grade and a few people to run water (now that we're allowed) If anyone needs a lift, let me know. Awards will be back at the club around 6.30. Hope to see a big crowd for some exciting games.

20.01.2022 It's finally here. Our first game of the 2020 season. Sat 18th July will be a home game against Brook/Ping, starting at 9.30am with the D-Grade, 11am C-Grade, 12.30 B-Grade and then your first look at our League team at 2.20pm. All players should be there 1 hour before the game. Following the last game, we will hold awards in the clubrooms around 6pm, have a casserole tea and then party on with Matty Hough into the wee small hours. Social distancing will be adhered to and hand sanitiser will be made available. Can all A-Grade local players bring a plate of something for afternoon tea and can all players bring a casserole for the evening meal.If you can bring it already hot and ready to serve about 6.30 it would be a big help. All club members and their guests are welcome.

19.01.2022 With the Premiers announcement today, full contact games will be allowed again from June 6th. Your League is working hard to get our season underway in the next 3-4 weeks so training now is more important than ever. A decision will be made on a start date, for ALL grades, by the end of next week so stay tuned. Crowds of up to 300 outside and 100 inside will be allowed and we can operate a bar and canteen which will be welcomed by a lot of you I'm sure. Let's make sure this freedom is not taken away again by keeping our distance, washing our hands and covering a sneeze or cough. It will be up to all of us!!

04.01.2022 URGENT MESSAGE: We DO NOT have a trainer or strapper for tomorrow. Apologies. If you need strapping, either get strapped before you come or bring someone with you that can strap you. We have all the tape you need, just no-one to apply it. We will have a trainer for the rest of the season, just not tomorrow. Also, the League has handed down a decision that we will not be allowed to have water boys tomorrow. ALL players need to bring their own water bottle, leave it in the dugout and will have to come off the ground to have a drink. This is not negotiable. Players will also have to stay on the field at half -time and only return to change-rooms after the game. If anyone can spare an hour to help me with the casserole tea tomorrow night, it would be very appreciated. Looking forward to finally playing footy!!!

02.01.2022 BUSY BEE + SCRATCH MATCH : On Saturday June 27th we will be starting the day off with a busy bee from 9-11am. All welcome. Bring your drills crescents and screw drivers, brooms, buckets and rakes. Let's get the place looking schmick before we have visitors. Following the busy bee we are hoping to have a scratch match for the D-Grade with some boys from Wagin or Pingelly, followed by a sausage sizzle. Not confirmed as yet so watch this space. After some lunch, our C-Gr...ade and Senior boys will have a intra-club scratchie to give the players some game time before the season. Spectators are more than welcome but must physically distance and sign in on the day. The following Saturday, July 4th, will hopefully be the Paul Ryder Memorial Game played every year against Northam Railways. Just waiting for confirmation from their President, so again, watch this space. Read the next post for some exciting news about our scoreboard. See more
