25.01.2022 We have some sad news about little hachiko. Earily morning on the 13/2/19 little hachiko passed away. Even tho we did everything we could do for the little fighter he had lost the fight agenst fading puppy syndrome. He went down hill so fast that not even intensive care at the vets would of save him. Even tho this is a big loss for us, little hachiko was just one of the pups dispite all the love and care you could give wouldn't make it. Rest in peace little angel you'll be missed.

25.01.2022 WE ARE STAYING OPEN. Despite recent Covid-19 precautions limiting travel, we have made the decision to stay open, in particular to assist with anyone who might become ill and need their dogs looked after while they are not well. People over 70 will receive a 50% discount until Covid-19 restrictions are relaxed. Health care workers, and police, who are doing extended hours due to the virus, can board their dogs for free, if they feel that would allow them to focus on their v...ery important work at this time. We will be implementing minimal contact procedures at drop off and pickup. But we are available for discussion over the phone. 23.01.2022 Thank you to Emily for the great work she is doing with the puppies. The same great care and attention she puts into all of the dog boarders, and our dog washing business here at Narrogin Valley Boarding Kennels. What Emily very modestly didn't tell you is that she is up every two hours feeding our light puppies, and has added canine milkmaid to her list of skills. I gave up after half an hour in trying to get some colostrum milk out of Hurricane our mum. Small puppies need colostrum in the first 36 hours. Emily showed her great rapport with dogs and managed to collect a full feed of colostrum this morning. I don't know if any of you have tried to milk a dog before. Believe me, it isn't easy. Especially with a tired grumpy mum.

22.01.2022 To all our customers with Christmas bookings, if you have not received a booking confirmation email from us, please contact us as soon as possible. We have had some problems with our internet, and have had the odd customer where we have misspelled the email address. It is our busiest Christmas period yet, and while we will try to accommodate everyone, we are getting very close to having to turn people away. We also have three male Kelpie puppies looking for a home. James and Emily.

19.01.2022 Head and Tails narrogin valley dog wash. We've had some very happy dogs come through our dogwash. We have a mobile wash that can come to your place and wash your dogs for $30 per dog. Or if you wish to bring your dog to us at the kennels it is $20 per dog. To have your dog washed at the kennels your dog must be vaccinated. We can also wash your dog if they stay in the kennels, before they come out so they're nice and clean going home.

17.01.2022 Our superstar girl hurricane is close to having her pups shes due in the next few days. Even tho she's getting quite big she still loves to play in the run pens like she always dose. We are really excited to see how many little fuzzballs she will have and finding them there forever homes once there old enoung to go to there new homes.

16.01.2022 Hazel our little champ had a bit of fun today doing sheep work, nothing holds this cutie back. She may be small and have a bit of a disadvantage but makes up for it in spirit and personality.

16.01.2022 Big day for puppies. They had thier weights taken and while we where doing that we noticed a few of the pups where starting to open there eyes! And thier ears where starting to open to! This means in the coming days pups will start to expolre there surroundings and get into puppy related trouble. Tho this was over shadowed by the loss of hachiko and one of his sister strom who also lost the fight to puppy fading syndrome. This is a big loss but harricane is a first time mum and has a big litter even tho the best of care is given some times things happen that we can't prevent.

16.01.2022 Still 2 pens available for the Australia Day long weekend. Just perfect if you have had that last minute urge to head away for the weekend. Also big news for the kennel this week in that our star sheepdog Hurricane is in pup to our alpha male Hippo (pic is of Hurricane when she was a pup). This means we will be needing an extra pen while she whelps - so get in before we are booked out. Especially for Easter.

Little Horror is from Harmony's 2019 litter she is currently 7 and a half weeks old, learning from our oldest who is 15 years young And still going strong.

12.01.2022 Hi my name is Hachiko. I was born earily on the 7/2/19 along with 8 siblings though my mother couldn't care for me because im to small. My human parent's are taking care of me giving me a chance to grow up big and strong like my siblings are. I weighed 93 grams the day I was born and in one day I have grown to 106 grams. Though im not out of the woods my humans want to share my story as even the tiniest of babies can grow up to be big and strong. Im named after a famous dog form Japan he's legdandary loyatly earnt him the nick name "worlds most loyal dog" I hope I can grow up to be just like him.

11.01.2022 Great news! Our little super star, Hurricane, has had her litter of 4 little girls and 5 little boys. Born Feb 7th. All healthy and going well, other than little Hachiko, whom we posted about before. A little fighter even though he hit the ground at 93 grams. Hurricane is proving to be a great mum and is doing all the right things. We will keep you posted on how the puppies are going. Even though Hachiko and two of the girls are a little small, they're all growing nicely.

11.01.2022 Big day for the puppies. It is weigh in day! All the pups are going well, and growing nicely. All puppies have gained between 10grams and 100 grams and have grown between 3cm to 8cm since the day they were born.

10.01.2022 Puppy update: The pups are now starting to try and walk around the nesting box. And their eyes are fully open. They are starting to respond to sound as well. The pups personalities are starting to show now. Still 4 puppies available.

06.01.2022 Two of Hurricane's pups have been chosen by their forever family. The pick of the male pups is spoken for, as well as the pink collar female. That means we have 2 girls and 3 boys left, as we are keeping one of the girls as a hold back puppy, and Hachiko might not be for sale.

01.01.2022 Hachiko Day 3 Hi guys I'm getting stronger and more lively by the day. So much so that my human mum has to put me in a teacup, or small container, so I can be weighed with out wriggling all over the place. I've found my voice, to the dismay of my big sister, who comes running to check on me every time I cry or squeak . Sometimes she even tries to clean me, which I'm not too pleased about. My humans are keeping a close eye on us when my big sis is around, as she's so much bigger than me. I'm not out of the woods yet, but my humans say I have a better chance of pulling through and surviving now that I'm past the first 48 hours. Especially as my human managed to get me some of my bio mummy's milk.

01.01.2022 Day 6 Hachiko Hi guys im becoming more active and trying to explore my surroundings even tho i still cant see or hear too well. Im now able to lift my head up and crawl to where i want to be.i love cuddling up to bun-bun or my human mummy to sleep. Iv grown 2cm since i was born and gained almost 30grams in 5 days im sill no where near what my siblings growth rates but thats ok.

01.01.2022 Day 4 Hachiko Today I got a new freind. My human mummy got me bun-bun, and I went out to see my brothers and sisters get weighed, like I do every morning and night. I now weigh 110 grams. Only 80 grams more until I double my birth weight. At his raye that should be by the 14/2, although my humans hope i smash that, so I'll get closer to my siblings weight.
