19.01.2022 An interesting style of rugby at Cale Oval today! No, both teams are not trying to bluff each other by lying down, all participants are taking cover from a large swarm of pitch invading bees! The ground marshal had his work cut out for him escorting all bees from the playing area!

19.01.2022 In case you missed the action at the previous home game, the Gorillas paid homage to Life Member Andy Thorburn. Andy's contribution to the Gorillas over the years is immeasurable! His years of service have seen him a player, a coach, a committee member, and still to this day a devoted Club Man who continues to be an integral pillar in the Clubs Foundations. We thank him gratefully! Now that I've set the platform for what it takes to be a Life Member, the Club announced the tw...o most recently elected Life Members in Stacey Irvine, and Sandra Irvine. Nominated, and voted as individuals the club voted to elect them both as Life Members as recognition of their contribution to the Gorillas. Stacey has been a player, and a coach for the Gorillas taking out a 2nd Grade Premiership in 2001. To this day Stacey continues to be a positive contributor amongst the playing group. The most notable aspect of their Life Membership nomination is their years of hard work establishing, and running the Junior Gorillas. Their tireless effort has been to the benefit of many a youngster in Narromine and we are forever grateful to them. See more

16.01.2022 The Gorillas are at home this weekend to Parkes! This Saturday was planned to be our Sponsors Day, but this has been postponed due to the forecast of rain. This weeks match-up will be our Red Cross Shield event and we encourage any spectators to come-on down to have a look. Please remember that Covid restrictions will be in place, and we recommend packing an umbrella to ensure you are able to maintain social distancing in the event that there is rain, and there is insufficient room in the grandstands. Attached is an update of our Calendar.

13.01.2022 The Skull Table had it’s first work out to day when we hosted the Dubbo Rhinos!! After some very dubious drinking skills the Rhinos took home the biggest prize of the day- The Jolly Roger Cup Well done Rhinos!!

09.01.2022 The Troops were out in force today as the Gorillas showed that we do have what it takes to bring home this year's Premierships! With today being our Sponsors Day there were some points that the boys in red wanted to prove; 1. That we're worth sponsoring, 2. That we are genuine title contenders. Our undefeated 2nd Grade was pushed early by the visiting Mudgee team, but held strong and found some good space late in the game to extend the score to 38 -17. 1sts were strong early... finding opportunities to score and get a small lead on the Batties. A period of poor discipline gave Mudgee plenty of possession and field position, but the Gorillas weathered the storm and finished strong with a few more points to close the game 19-3. The Gorillas will take a lot of belief out of today's performances but still have some ground to make up on the competition ladder in 1st Grade. We're home again on September 12th v CSU for our ladies day. See more
